Guardian module reinforcement?

Just unlocked these and was wondering if anyone has any good intel on how they work against the goids?

things I've noticed: It's one of the very few modules that's clearly BETTER than the non-guardian version if you have spare power because:

1) it has higher integrity than the corresponding non-guardian MRP
2) i've read that it negates the "force lightning" module reboot, which could make keeping shields up in a goid fight a lot more doable.

MRP's can't be engineered so the guardian MRP has advantages that cannot be duplicated with engineering.

I had some questions if anyone has experimented with this already

1) does the effect stack somehow or is 1 guardian MRP all you need to prevent module reboots?
2) can it be repaired with an AFMU?
3) does it go offline (and stop protecting modules) when it's being repaired?

I'm guessing because it has to be powered (unlike the regular MRP), you may need to activate it again in the right-menu...

I can see something like this being missed when they developed it (frontier).

I was thinking the same thing....but you cant turn them off in the right menu and I haven't had a chance to damage one yet.

can be repaired
Does stack
Don't know about going offline.. but why would that matter? You can not turn it off as state above

I have no knowledge about negates the "force lightning" Just don't gete hit :)

As grog79 says.

To add, they don't prevent module damage but absorb 100*(1-(0.4)^n) % of the module damage received. 1=60%, 2=84%, check coriolis.

Not seen anything conclusive about them mitigating lightning.
