Newcomer / Intro Guardian site - Relic drop ic 2391 sector fl-x b1-7 a 3

Hi,
I am sitting at the guardian site ic 2391 sector fl-x b1-7 a 3
I have cleared the site and activated the beasons 10 times at least. My game keeps crashing if I try and use the external camera to check position so I have been disembarking. I even managed to drop a relic so that it was sitting vertically on the hatch at the middle of the cross. I cannot get it to accept it.
The pillars drop relics when I shoot them and I think that this is a module site. If the pillars drop relics and this is a module site I think that means it wants relics dropped to activate and not keys? I have 2 relics but no keys.

I have 1 module blueprint in my store .. I dont think this would prevent the opening?

I am getting no-where and getting a bit frustrated.

Please help, I dont know what I am doing wrong. I am sitting in my buggy trying to keep it fueled and not logging out and hoping I can resolve this before my wife gets home..

Sorry I can't help. I tried the Guardian stuff a while ago just to see what the fuss was all about, but I too had lots of game crashes and things not working as intended, so just gave up trying.

That site does not accept relics - it takes ancient keys you get from guardian beacons.

Which source did you use to check that?

I had thought that that sites that drop relics would take relics.?
I am after the Guardian Shield reinforcement module.

I have full bins on just about everything except the Technology Component. Not seen any here.

I haven't been to one in ages but this is Elite of course you should take guns while exploring an ancient archaeological site.

I was at one the other day. Sentinels are quite large.

I wonder if shooting the pylons on foot would activate them... Hmm. No way to pick up the relic though.

Excellent. The more explosions the better. Let's keep these sites for humanity to appreciate - just need to blow everything up and level it to satisfy health and safety regs.
