These would be full ships as opposed to ship launched fighters. These ships would be for the serious Guardian Grinder/Thargoid Fighter commanders out there. Like all guardian stuff, they would work against humans and thargoids.
My idea is for two options. The Guardian Strike Fighter and the Guardian Assault Vessel (these names are just used to differentiate and are by no means final.)
Both ships would have several things in common. The FSD would have greater range than normal as if it had a guardian FSD booster built in. The power plant and distributer would be the guardian variant by default. These ships could only equip guardian weapons but they would not be limited on the number of experimental weapons as the ships themselves are experimental. The hulls would have innate caustic resistance. The shields would be harder to penetrate and be boosted as if with a built in booster. Also being experimental, these ships would have higher insurance percentages, perhaps even full price on rebuy.
Strike Fighter: Comparable to a Cobra MkIV but faster (240ish base and 350ish boost default) and more maneuverable (5ish, like a stock Imperial Eagle). It would have Three medium hardpoints and two Small hardpoints. This ship would take two Guardian Starship Blueprint Fragments and an appropriately large number of other guardian materials as well normal human materials to unlock.
Assault Vessel: Comparable to a Python but much more maneuverable (4ish, like a stock Fer-de-Lance). It would have three Large hardpoints and three Medium hardpoints. Capable of carrying a SLF but only a guardian variant. This ship would take four Guardian Starship Blueprint Fragments and an appropriately large number of other guardian materials as well normal human materials to unlock.
I imagine these ships as having tri-symmetry like the guardian SLFs but more compact (not so much open space in the ship’s area). They would also have lots of 60 and 120 degree angles like standard Guardian architecture.
