Still waiting.... yawn ... maybe a link will appear with something on it or your full of it ..... I would guess the latter. If you can actually make a point or need some assistance on learning how to do so hit me up a I am really good at special education and speaking very slow so you can understand evidence based arguments. As for my side of the argument the servers are still up, and alas no announcement or hint of server closures that I can find. I still see a 2018 roadmap sticky and developers as far as I can tell are still working on the game. Where is the information to be found that there is a possible stoppage of development of elite dangerous in 2019 I would seriously love to know.
Well, I don't see anyone posting something about servers being closed. And for the roadmap question: simple, there is no information for plans after Beyond as far as we know. That's the fact for all of us non-FDev folk here in the forums. We can certainly each speculate what may happen. But like it or not the fact is right now, today, FDev have only stated development through end of 2018. Will there be more? Speculate away...
To the topic of this thread, ask yourself: Beyond is adding trivial fixes and bits; nothing major. Does anyone really expect to suddenly see a new dev effort release something more and something on a large scale? For a 5+ year old game? Hmmm... I know which way I'd bet...

LOL. No. FTL is same grinding as ED, just emphasis on permadeath point.
Alternative is predictable missions which players will grind and get modules faster. Not really what devs want. And I am yet to hear real workable alternatives to that.

Aww your so cute. Bring something? The sky is falling without a shred of evidence. How does it make me a “fan boy” to ask you to actually bring substance to your and I say this very loosely “ your argument” . I kind of generally feel your argument is lazy and is based on knee jerk reaction about something you didn’t get in game and the usual passive aggressive crap you spew on the forums imagining mr braben pouring over your every word with a small tear dripping into his afternoon tea... but hey they should pull you into a meeting so you can explain all this to them cause everyone who says the game will go on including fdev ain’t got the insider information and analytical mind like you.
This is how the fanbois label pops-up with statements highlighted above. No said the "sky was falling". No one said the game is "doomed". No one said the "game is over". What people did say was simply don't expect more than what you have today. That's basically it. So why the dramatic responses? Why so much emotion and projection of stuff that wasn't said? So... What type of label did you apply to yourself here?
Anyway, the game is-what-it-is so those that love it "as is" shouldn't care. Agree?
