Welcome to Utopia's own little Outpost here in the Frontier Forums. After the smashing success of the good people organizing Z. Hudson's followers, it seemed prudent to try to get us organized as well. It's a little empty here at the moment, but We'll be changing that soon.

Introduction:
I am Ambassador Adeptus Kaze of the Consular Ship 'Blue Hope III'. It is my mission to help organize the Scions of The Utopia here on Xbox1, and then to join our more Established Sisters and Brothers from the PC universe after the merge.

I play power play with one of the coolest and most friendly groups there is. Antal, it's only 2% of all the people who play power play so its, small, tight, co-ordinated and people know each other.

There's no leadership. We do a lot of role play, creative writing and creative game play like bringing law and order to the Frontier Systems such as Takurua

If you don't know much about Antal then here's some background.

There are no slaves of any kind in Utopia. Harmful substances like narcotics are banned too. Illegal trade is closed down. The trade routes are safe as fines and bounties are increased. We overthrow corrupt dictatorships through violent protest. We arrest nonviolent dissidents (the smugglers, drug dealers, slavers, corrupt politicians etc of the old system) to the capital for legal due process and hopefully reintegration in to society. We enforce law and order and are at peace with our neighbors. We do not undermine their growth. We are the only power with a real purpose or vision. All talk of cult, brain washing etc. is not part of the lore and never has been. It is fear of the boggy man and made up by other powers and people fixated with 1984 and just looking to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt. It's all cool!

The figurehead, Antal, makes the best simulations in the galaxy too. They call him SimGuru, like Tech Guru, ofcousre some folk have taken it and twisted it in to some silly idea of a cult to justify picking on him. So you'll read some bad press from other powers on the forum but if you want to know the truth have a look at the official stuff on Galnet.

Hello dear I have always been kinda forum illiterate, so I am glad there is now a place that makes it easier for us to talk directly with our fellow Antal followers. I thought about us all having some kind of a nifty name. It seems that you are starting to be seen as the actual Ambassador of Antal since when our faction is recommended, people are told to "go fly with that Kaze guy" I was thinking we could be like Kamikazes, or some similar play on words

Preparation:
last Week:

Sadly, we only managed to get one system prepared for this week; however thanks to generous contributions of Preparation Nominations by our fellow Utopians, we managed to get ahead of our sabateurs; so that one system is a good one.

Gauluujja
-This system was hotly contested before, and will be again;
-This little Gem will net us +48cc/week, has an upkeep of only 24cc/week.
-Utopian Pilots who wish to PVE will be able to hit this in solo mode with no fear of encountering CMDRs; and there will be lots of chances for PvP in Open...
Please enjoy the combat, and understand that this will largely be for grinding Merits, the fierce opposition to expansion here will make it difficult for us to take and hold this world. Then again... let it not be said that the Ambassadors and Enforcers of Utopia didn't like a challenge.

This Week:
We have 194cc this week,
over double what We had last week; so We can probably squeak two systems into expansion next week. One should be near the front lines so that it gets hammered, and takes the brunt of other Power's merit grinding, and the other should be back away, and easier to support.
Front Line:
-Albast (cost 89cc) - Albast was a great battleground last week, and it can be again this week. it gives our foes somewhere to grind their Merits, and fight each other away from our more important control and expansion systems. Half of our CC is a small price to pay for (reletive) peace.
Back Line:
-Gliese 9016 (cost 86cc) - This world is not nearly as valuable as WodiWodi, only netting us 20cc/week, but it is to our Galactic back line, well away from all other major powers; and should be reletively easy to take and hold.
The cost is low enough that we can set up both of thse for next week. I would love to see some other suggestions as well...
NEXT WEEK:
If we have the CC for it, it would be amazing to see this beauty on the docket for next week's prep; we just don't have the CCs this week to take it, and have another system as decoy...
-Wodiwodi (cost 154cc) - is worth a staggering 104cc/week to us; IF we can take it. It is on the front line between us and 4 other powers. It's a worthy goal if we are up to it.

Expansion:
Last Week:

Due to the heroic efforts of our Combat Pilots and Utopian Agitators: We managed to take all three of the primary target worlds selected for expansion the week before. All three of these are well positioned, and have a low risk of being selected as Undermining targets by our rivals. Of the two systems we failed to take: One was a nessesary strategic sacrifice, and the other was a result of sabotage and best avoided...
-Auakereks
will net us 46cc/week and it's position makes it a prime target only for Archon Delaine; the inconvienience of the Piracy nessessary to undermine us here makes this a low priority Undermining risk.
-Chu Pere
will net us 53cc/week, and it's position makes it a prime target only for Li Yong-Rui; the inconvienience of the Piracy nessessary to undermine us here makes this a low priority Undermining risk.
-Makula
will net us 39cc/week, and like Auakereks, it's position makes it a prime target only for Li Yong-Rui; the inconvienience of the Piracy nessessary to undermine us here makes this a low priority Undermining risk.

The two other worlds?
-Albast
Kudos to the Commander who selected this. It was too close to too too many other powers to realistically take, but it served as the buffer that allowed us to take the three systems above; and provided other powers with a place to grind an astonishing 53,980 Merits!!!
-Ewe
Was a sabatoge from within; and didn't even draw much fire... If we had taken it, it would have just been undermine-bait. We are better off without it.

This Week:
We have one, and only one, Military Target this week: Gauluujja. It is inconvienient to other powers that we may actually have a shot at it this time; though bear in mind that Imperial, and Independent Powers are close enough to it that we will have a real fight on our hands... Good luck Pilots!!!

Control:
Last Week:
Excellent fortification work this week ensured that none of our Control Systems that were Undermined, stayed Undermined.
-We successfully cancelled Undermining in 6 systems.
-We fortified 2 Systems.
-Best of all, we left the week with 0 undermined systems!
It really doesn't get any better than that!

This Week:
We will have our work cut out for us. Expect a severe push from Pilots belonging to the Imperial Powers. Fortification must be a focus. While I am not one to complain, my Wing alone delivered around 6000 Utopian Dissidents to fortify systems under threat; we can use all the help that We can get!
Remember to use the 'Lazy Transport Method' to earn merits while You are doing chores, homework, or any other real-life activity. 5500/6000 Utopian Dissidents that my wing delivered cam from this method of fortification; and didn't cost us a single shiny credit.

I will update this report as systems fall under attack!

Summary:
We made the most of a rough week, and came out much better than expected. We did fall from 6th to 7th place, but this is a sign of recovery on the part of other Powers, not a loss of our own. (We are reletively small compared to most of the other Powers) We took 3 of 5 objectives, seeded a new one, and protected our turf. Lets keep it up!

Through Mastery of ourselves, and of our environment, We shall create a true Galactic Paradise for all mankind!

I know some will say "it doesn't matter" because we will eventually merge with PC databases; but I feel it means even more because we're not currently being influenced by PC players, so what we make of PP now is ours. When all 23 Xbox CMDRs are forced into the PC simulation, we won't have as much of a voice in shaping the Galaxy unfortunately.

Thank you for your empathy. I agree wholeheartedly with every sentiment.
That being said, this is an opportunity to hone our skills at building and maintaining the Utopia,
just as your President Hudson has been delivered from Turmoil and can again rise to the heights.

Utopia CARES 9/11/15; 0700 BST (Supplimental):
(Cultural Advancement Report, Explanation, and Summary)

Preparation:
We are starting from scratch Team... down to 4 control Worlds and 110 CC again.
The question becomes - Where do We start?
I recommend

HIP 116213.
-Expansion Cost is only 63cc.
-It gets us a modest 23cc/week.
-It is a High tech Refinery/System
-It sells the Diamondback class ships, and advanced modules.
-It is in a strategic position between us, Z. Hudson, and Archon Delaine.
More will be possible next week so long as we fortify all four of our systems.

Expansion:
We have one and only one target this week:

Kosching
-Due to it's position on the Galactic Map, we can expect strong opposition.
If we can take it though...
-68cc/week
-Strategic Position towards the juicy center of the map!

Control:
We only have 4 control worlds, and Sasha and I have already Fortified HIP 117972 this afternoon, and will have HIP 1389 done by tomorrow.
We could use some help securing Neris and Antal though...
Fortifying these four worlds will spike us from 111cc to 243cc, assuming that we don't take Kosching; if we do take Kosching we are still looking at 154cc next week; enough to prep 2 systems!


Summary:
Ok, so we've been reset... AGAIN. Thats OK, a fresh start means new opportunities to reshape the Galaxy as we see fit, and to spread the glorious future that only the Utopia can bring to all mankind.

Thus said it looks like we got reset to the Power Play Cycle FD originally started with when the Elite first came online(Thought I read somewhere that it was supposed to be more inline with the P.C. servers.)

Next topic I'm going to recommend Egovach for expansion as it's potential profit is 95cc and upkeep is only 21cc and it's practically within our borders already. Hip 116213 while good system as you say, I feel that it could wait a week.....that's if powerplay cycles next week. May not cycle until Elite goes live.

lol, while typing this I flew over 700,000 Ls away from Tanner settlement and achieved the speed of 1335c, maybe someday do that Hutton orbital they all talk about.

I tried egovach and it really looks superb, but I was unable to deliver publicity there as it was too expensive apparently. Also the violent protest is not within the system kosching. This is rather unpleasant as I had just eschewed my other occupations to hit rank5. Sigh.

The good news is that We seem to have extra time to get the 10k merits needed to maintain out rank. The last time that this happened Sasha and I were able to take our time, rather than constantly grind. No worries. We're just doing the fortification right now to ensure that if there is a surprise return of PP to active status, We are ready and get max CC for our Faction.

I will miss fighting in the violent protests this week... Perhaps we can all wing up and hit some of these new Hazardous Res Zones and Corrupted Beacons that I've been hearing about. This will give our experienced Pilots a chance to make bank, and a chance to Fly with and support our newer pilots in real-time combat in preparation for a return to political combat ops in the near future. We can also hit High Res Conflict Zones throughout Utopian Space as practice for Violent Protests later.

I want to tip my hat to whoever has been scouting and preparing systems this week; seriously - Stand Up and be Recognized for your efforts, their two selections are just brilliant!
One of the major problems that We are facing with the reset is that even though we get a 100% bonus payout for bounty hunting in controlled/exploited systems, none of the starter systems have the planetary rings that we need to grind cash for pirates... Both of these systems provide this, as well as being well positioned strategically!

Shana Bei
+23cc/week; only a loss of -43cc if undermined.
-Strategically positioned on our front-line; and will be a hard fight as everyone is going to want to grind here! Even if we don't win this it will help to protect expansion at the second selection...
-Multiple Ringed worlds with All types of Res Sites!
-Multiple Stations close to the star for easy access in fortification.

LHS 4045
+30cc/week, -54 if Undermined.
-Strategically Poitioned on our back line, well away from the other Powers; this makes it easy to take, and hold.

I had originally wanted to Prepare Albast as a front line Public Service for the galaxy, but we simply don't have the CC to spare at the moment; so they'll just have to oppose us at Shana Bei instead.

Expansion:
We have no real targets this week:

Kosching
-is a Dud... no Violent Protests are spawning here.

Gauluujja
-We can't take it, but if You like to Grind Merits in Violent Protest zones, they are spawning here; so get over there and earn/maintain your Rank.
-This goes for those pledged to other powers as well: You may as well grind here too so that You can earn/maintain your Rank.

Control:
We only have 4 control worlds, and we have already Fortified HIP 117972, HIP 1389, and Neris; Antal should be done by tomorrow at the rate things are going. Good work team!

Fortifying these four worlds has given us enough CC to Prepare both of the systems highlighted in Preparation (above). Thank You for your efforts!


Summary:
We are doing very well with the meagar resources at our disposal, and the general malfunction of the Powerplay system as a whole. Hang in there Team!!!

With all worlds Fortified, two good worlds Prepared, and a place to grind for merits this week - We are making lemonade from the lemons given us.

End to the Shadow Wars:
Good news everyone, our worlds are back!!! The only bad news is that our Enforcer Cannons are not yet back on sale, but if thats are biggest Problem: We have none. Shana Bei and LHS 4046 are Open for Expansion!!!

Alliance Proposal:
Desolate fate of the Taco Corp (Zachary Hudson) has proposed a formal alliance. We do not have details yet, but this is a matter to be discussed by the community. What are your thoughts?


Preparation:
We have 240cc this week, exactly enough to prep:

-Gliese 9016 (cost 86cc) - This world is not nearly as valuable as WodiWodi, only netting us 20cc/week, but it is to our Galactic back line, well away from all other major powers; and should be reletively easy to take and hold.
-Wodiwodi (cost 154cc) - is worth a staggering 104cc/week to us; IF we can take it. It is on the front line between us and 4 other powers. It's a worthy goal if we are up to it.
The cost is low enough that we can set up both of these for next week. I would love to see some other suggestions as well...


Expansion:
Violent Protests are up, so grind away People. If we want to take Shana Bei, we need to get on it stat!

Shana Bei +23cc/week; only a loss of -43cc if undermined.
-Strategically positioned on our front-line; and will be a hard fight as everyone is going to want to grind here! Even if we don't win this it will help to protect expansion at the second selection...
-Multiple Ringed worlds with All types of Res Sites!
-Multiple Stations close to the star for easy access in fortification.

-Strategically Poitioned on our back line, well away from the other Powers; this makes it easy to take, and hold.

Summary:
We are back baby!! We have our Control systems back, good CC to spend, a couple of great systems to expand into, and all lights are green. No Enforcer Cannons yet, but I imagine that they wont be back till after the release.
Now we need to stay vigilant: Fortify our worlds as they come under attack, as we focus on good expansion and prep.

Project HART
(Hudson Antal Regional Treaty)

Preamble:
Over the last few weeks there has been a feeling of warmth and comradrie growing between the Pilots pledged to Zachary Hudson, and Prenav Antal. Twice now the Hudson's Hot Tacos (Taco Corp) have proposed an alliance with the Ambassadors and Enforcers of Prenav Antal (AEPA).

In the official Galnet News, Prenav Antal has been quoted as saying that a formal Military Alliance is impossible; therefore any Joint Alliance will have to be at the Organizational Level, rather than the Power Faction level. No problems - This will work out for Taco Corp and the AEPA just fine; and can serve as a model for future cooperation between the Federation and Utopia.

Taco Corp is a powerful offensive arm of the Federation Military that focuses on Undermining to smash their opposition with a glorious onslaught of well coordinated strikes against their foes. Their primary Targets appear to be the Empire, and the Alliance; and when not actively launching raids into enemy territory; they are focused on Fortifying worlds (other than Groombridge) within Hudson Space.
They provide excellent training on Powerplay for new pilots, and are a Friendly and Outgoing organization with a lot of color and character.


AEPA is a strong Militant Order, and Political arm for the Utopia; providing Military Support to our Utopian Agitators in Violent Protests, Flipping Systems via Regime Change and Civil Wars in Utopian space, and focusing on Fortification in threatened systems. In short - a largely Defensive, System Development focused Organization. We are friendly, (mostly) PvPeaceful, and rarely do we operate outside of our borders...

Where Taco Corp focuses on Offensive operations, AEPA focuses on defensive Ops. Where the Taco Corp strikes hard, We consolidate. While our missions are very different, a quick glance at them can quickly display our synergy...

What is in this Treaty for the Utopia?
It has come to my attention that the two things that We need to focus on most as We train for the merge are:
1) Training on 'System Flipping', or regime change within our systems to favorable government types to reduce our Fortification costs. (I am currently learning this art from the PC Utopians, and will post a guide in the near future).

2) Many of Us LOVE the Federal Assault Ship (and want to try the Federal Corvette), and need to grind our Federation Naval Auxiliary Rank before the merge.

3) This opens up Federation Space for Trade and Mission Ops!

This works out very well for us because:
1) We can flip systems withing Z. Hudson Space to Federal Minor Factions, and ally with those Minor Factions, thus Improving our Fed navy Rank, AND training in the fine art of System Flipping. This has the side effect of lowering the weekly Fortification costs in these systems for our new allies. A net Win all around!
2) This opens up both trade and smuggling routes to and from Utopian Space.

Joint operations with the Taco Corp also gives us the opportunity to reinforce their offensive wings if We desire to do a little undermining ourselves; and opens up the option for Joint Bounty Dissolution...
1) When one of us gets a price on our head, We can switch to a Sidewinder or Hauler, have a Friendly Taco Corp member scan us, and then Mercy Kill us. They get a Bounty, and We get a clean slate. (If two members of the same faction do this, then the mercy killer loses 50 merits for betraying their side!)
2) This goes both ways: The tacos rack up some huge bounties during their Undermining Ops. Being able to dump this bounty on a Friendly Utopian will be very useful to them!

We might also have the Option to join their Strike Wings should a member of AEPA feel so inclined; and members of taco Corp feel like having one more ship on their Wing...

What is in this Treaty for the Federation?
By allowing us inside their borders to perform System Flipping and Regime Change Ops:
1) They get their weekly Fortification triggers lowered.
2) They get a group of Utopians inside their Control Worlds that can spot enemy undermining, report it, and possibly participate in stopping it.

They also get the following fringe benefits:
1) The ability to use Utopian Pilots to round out their Offensive Strike Wings.
2) Free Access to our Black Markets (which pay out a +10%).
3) Safe passage through to Sirius Corp space, where they can enjoy the Li Yong-Rui discounts to Outfitting without having to fly through Empire Space.
4) Access to Bounty Dissolution Ops.

Allied Forces Code of Conduct.
Naturally we will have to come up with a simple Code of Conduct for members of HART. Some suggestions have been:
-When in Allied Space, We will not Undermine our Allies. (Duh, right!?)
-When in Allied Space We will report Undermining, and support anti-Undermining ops with Allied Commanders.
-We Will not however interdict and engage members of other factions that are involved in peaceful trade. Trade actually improves a system; so that Edmund Mahon or Zemina Torval Pilot in the unshielded Type-7? He gets a pass. (This should be based on a quick check for a murder-level bounty on a scan)
-If We see an allied Pilot under attack from a CMDR from our own faction, We will intercede and explain the allied status of the pilot; opening fire to prove our point if necessary.
-If receiving the benefit of such Intercession, we shall refrain from destroying our attacker; and leave ASAP.

This is a good start, and will be developed as the weekend progresses.
