Guest views are only... fine?

ISSUE RESOLVED thanks Frontier! 😁

I have an Indian Peafowl exhibit where guests enter from the guest gates. These guest are literally standing right next to the Peafowls, and yet they still say,

ā€œI suppose the view of the Indian Peafowl from here is... fine?ā€

this seems like a bug, because they can’t get ANY closer to the animal...

It’s SUCH a disappointment after spending hours creating detailed exhibits, only to be told by guests they’re... fine?

I only ever get this message from guests, too. So much so that it seems like a bug to me, or something.
I have glass exhibits where guests are right next to the animal and they’re ā€œfineā€. I have exhibits with an overlooking walkway that allows them to see very clearly into the exhibit and they’re ā€œfineā€. And yes, even when guests ENTER the exhibit they’re still ā€œfineā€..... it makes no sense.

Yeah pretty much alwasys this. In beta my lion habitats got a few "Amazing" views but it was super rare and the part that bothers me is I never figured out why. I don't mind a mechanic that akes it a challenge to get "good views" but it needs to be understood and communicated. There is no way in game right now to really know what the problem is.

I fully agree, it’s game breaking in the sense that there’s no immersion. No matter what you do, it basically doesn’t matter because the outcome is that your views are just ā€œfine.ā€ How dumb is that when an animal is right at the guest’s feet and they’re pointing and excited as can be?

I really hope they address this issue because it makes me not want to play

Another part of this is guests being STUPID. Often I see guests standing at very bad places to view when there are closer/better places. They seem to just stop at the very first time they can see the animal, even if that's 100 yards away and if they had just kept walking up the path they would get a lot closer.

I have a guest right now standing on front of the Aardvark habitat and apparently looking at the Plains Zebra in the habitat BEHIND it, and saying "Yeah I guess the view of the Plains Zebra is okay from here"

That's just annoying.

Yeah, my lemur exhibit gets the same message. I created a walk-in for the lemurs and the view is just.... fine?

However, I created a big pit for my tigers with a customer walk way towering(Pretty far) above the enclosure and the feedback there is "I can't believe I'm in this tiger habitat!"
I just don't know lol.

Having this issues as well, i have tried to recreate what some of the reserves i have visited have, like those small viewing boxes. As in, you can't seem the animals from anywhere but inside there. And inside you can only see these animals. Now it has improved a bit, but not by that much to be honest.

I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this.

Frontier, please address this issue, it’s a really frustrating mechanic in its current state

I think the guests like big animals in tiny cages, so they can say; "Oh my, the view on the bengal tiger looks awesome, but I wished it didn't stand so close to me."
Personally I settle for "fine" and think by myself; "Give me your money lady, and further keep your mouth shut. This place is in the first place for the animals, not for you." :)

This game needs a whole lot of tweaking. I only can make my guests happy in sandbox mode, and even that needs tweaking.
