Guests walking behaviour

Hey!

Is it just me or are there other people who find the walking of the guests abit odd? When they walk as a family/group it's like they are glued to eachother, walking abit synced. I understand that this is not easy to change but it's just something I noticed.

I noticed and laughed about this also. But there was one time that I was watching a "family" group when a child left the group and went to another nearby group. Then an adult (mother?) from the first group went to the second group and brought the child back to the original group. That was about the most realistic behavior I saw and only that one time.

Another time while watching the guests the inspector was making her rounds. I placed a park bench in her way and she bounced off of it a couple of times before turning around it. I thought about making a small enclosure around her but didn't try it.
 
Oh that's interesting! Well it's not that it's bothering me big time, but I liked to know if there were options to edit this abit. The mother getting the child back is indeed realistic. That's pretty much how it goes here at home aswell :D
 
I agree that they all seem to move really unrealistically like as if theyre glued together with sticks except for the odd occasion.

Would make more sense if they were on a distance limit (imagine a rope) from one of the group members, so they could lag behind or shoot off in front by a couple meters instead, would make them look a lot more natural.
 
I noticed this as well and at first it was like an itch I can't scratch, but then I thought about it. When I realized that it could be a way for the game to have numerous guests without needing to utilize computer resources for each visitor, and the resources could be then used for the animals, I decided that I was fine with the "packaged unit" as guests, since the groups did come in variety.

The annoying part for me is that the guests don't seem to be aware of people or things that are right in front of them. They just walk directly into the crowd that's blocking their path or they cut the corners as close to the curb as they possibly can get.
 
Yes! I’ve also noticed a group of people will get stuck on a staff path together and make the same movements as if they are dancing. It’s a little odd but honestly it doesn’t really bother me, just funny to watch.
 
They tend to clip into each other really badly. I can understand different groups of guests doing that sometimes to ease congestion, but a single group should surely have their own small area of space around them within the group?
 
This is partially to make your computer not meltdown... It´s a tax for having huge masses of people in the park/zoo...

I don't like that Guests stand between 500 or more other People without trying to go to another Place in the Zoo that isn't so crowded. I've built a Restaurant in my Beta-Zoo and a lot of Guests were at the End of the Stairs instead of moving realistic in the Building. At least some of them used the Viewing Platform that was connected to the Building
