Gun Sight Mode: Both

What I have gathered about gun sight mode:

Leading is very useful to visualize a targets direction and speed,
as it is attached to it and basically displays the current velocity vector.

Trailing is better than leading to align your cross hairs with the target orientation,
since it is attached to your hud and cross hairs will be right above the target instead of in front.

Both are incredibly useful. So why not allow a third mode that does use both at the same time?

Because having both at the same time would only be confusing.

Not if you know to use both informations.

It's an option already, either one or the other. A third option wouldn't hurt.

Lead AND Trailing? Would be stupid as hell to use both at the same time.

Both have a distinct advantage over the respective other.

Ya you want to make it easier for your self. You want both direction the other ship flying. And where to shoot. It fine the way it is.

Easier for everyone who can live with such a cluttered HUD

I can live with having to decide being a balance factor.
