Habitat Cleanliness

I'm pretty frustrated that I can't easily get an overview of habitat cleanliness. It seems to jump from 100% clean to "disease risk" with nothing in between. I wish it were more like the barrier status, where it slowly declines and shows the accurate level of decline. So far I can manage it by using a heat map for cleanliness and looking for the red circles, but when it comes to big zoos, it would be much easier to use the pull-out menu and see everything at a glance. Better yet, it would be great to be notified before the habitat reaches "disease risk" levels of dirtiness.

If you click on your habitat gate / barrier, there IS a clealiness percentage exactly like the barrier status percentage...right above the barrier status. Is this not what you're looking for?

Yes, that is what I'm talking about. Sorry if I was too vague before. I don't think it accurately reflects the cleanliness level in the habitat and I wish I could get some warning before my animals get sick. For example, a freshly cleaned habitat is 100%, but after a few droppings pop up, the bar still shows 100%. Then, when the heat map shows the habitat is about one-third to one-half red, the bar will drop from 100% to about 50% in an instant and suddenly the habitat is a disease risk. Is it just my game that's being weird?

Well, it could be the size of your habitat relative to how much animals poop. I've had the same issues with a small herd of llames in a farm-sized enclosure. I don't think it's a problem with your game specifically, but I can't say for sure without seeing the habitat. 🤷‍♀️

I've had the problem in any habitat with more than 3 or 4 animals, even when I give them more than enough space. For example, I have a combined bison-pronghorn habitat with an area of 2200m2 and 8 adult animals and 3 juveniles that is constantly filling with dung. Meanwhile I have 2 camels and their child in a habitat of about 820m2 and have had few problems. Do some animals just poop more than others, or am I overfilling the enclosure? I try to keep the herds as small as I can while still satisfying the social needs, and try to provide more than adequate space. Actually, coming back to the question of measurement, is it the number of droppings that count, or the overall space that they take up?

Yeah a lot of animals (especially ungulates, which seems to be the root of your problems) just poop a 💩 ton. I would try just having more keepers on staff to deal with the mess. Maybe even assign them so that they only clean hsbitats and don't waste any time feeding
