Doubtful, looks like something to test FPS.In another thread Robert closed as a dupe, this video was posted.
Did hackers unlock some kind of new weapon?

As others have reported yes commander validating was a valid Commander name at one time.Recently I saw what seemed to be some kind of hacked messages in the system chat of Shinrarta Dezhra. In fact, when googling about it I stumbled across someone's video about it:Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYLLJkHuIE0
At this very moment I'm in the Huangais system, and I noticed that there's something like 50 fleet carriers with the name "BUY ARX NOW", all with serial numbers starting with "G6M-". I don't know if this is the only system where there's such a flood of FCs with that (or a similar) name. I doubt that any legitimate player purchased about 50 fleet carriers just for this. The owner name is "VALIDATING", which I don't know is something in the game, or an actual "commander name".

Does this solve the code security problem?Regarding the location you're going to, most of us always do that in Solo.

I honestly don't understand what this is referring to, or an answer to, or a solution for. What location? Do what in Solo? I don't understand.Regarding the location you're going to, most of us always do that in Solo.
Jameson Memorial appears in the vid.I honestly don't understand what this is referring to, or an answer to, or a solution for. What location? Do what in Solo? I don't understand.
I see.Jameson Memorial appears in the vid.
I never see system chat while in solo unless I select that option. I see navy ship spam chat.I see.
But as mentioned, I don't think it matters. The system chat is still functional even in solo mode (you still see chatter from other players), and likewise fleet carriers.
That's because it is hard. Networks are generally about access, making something that is accessible hard to access is working at cross purposes, especially when you get dumb humans involved. Most governments, big internet companies, apple, microsoft, telephone network providers, etc seem to find it very hard to make something secure...
you mean hackers like this guy? he mapped all of the Star´s in this System, and the Black HolesThere is a user called Validating, I've come across many of their discovered systems. I don't think that's the same person.
While it is an attackers game, it's just not a high enough priority for most of the companies you see get hacked and they barely spend any resources on it.Most governments, big internet companies, apple, microsoft, telephone network providers, etc seem to find it very hard to make something secure...
For instance our GSM network protocols are already very old and completely compromised, but efforts to build 5G on newer and secure protocols have been resisted by many governments (one wonders why). The result is that even something like 5G is completely compromised. While it is an attackers game, it's just not a high enough priority for most of the companies you see get hacked and they barely spend any resources on it.
Although that one was right on the foot, i see no need to go that hard.Still, at least Elite requires hackers hacking to make the game behave erratically, there's no point hacking Star Citizen as the game does the hackers job for them au naturel and no-one would notice the difference.
