Spent the day at Bast supporting the guys and gals bringing in meds as part of the community goal. I wasn't transporting meds myself, but instead used my Vulture to try to keep the heads down of as many player and NPC pirates as I could, to try and give the haulers a fighting chance. I wasn't the only one in support either as there were a few other CMDRS doing the same thing.
It was a long day in the cockpit (made easy as it's been raining all day here in the UK), but well worth the effort, and there really was a sense of community keeping watch over the haulers. Pocketed just over a million in bounties throughout the day with some cracking fights, and managed to not lose a ship, but I wasn't there for the cash or glory, just the spirit of a great game. Great comradery amongst all - both player pirates and haulers. Oh and some comedy moments trying to catch a very persistant Cobra CMDR (you know who you are)
Keep up the community goals FD. When they work they work spectacularly well. Thanks for a great game.
