Halloween Suit Cosmetics

Benny Hill styleee chase as the recipient of said cargo legs it as they notice you approaching...So i got (for my Epic account, mind you!) a skeleton suit, the ectoplasma one and the pumpkin one.
just a minor complain: the Orange Trickster (the vibrant one) throws a Livery connection error
Anyway, going to deliver some contraband cargo... What can possibly go wrong?

My red skeleton head is basically white with a pinkish edge. Super luminescent too. I wasn't expecting it to shine so brightly, kinda ruins my stealthy maverick suit, imo.

So emmisives work in EDO, if Frontier wants them to work... Shame they didn't put the same effort into those we already purchased in the past.
TBH, i would have preferred them to be reflective and not emissive. Or at least one each.
More scare effect if you suddenly start to shine when points a flashlight at you

Wish they would sell some fancy helmets on their own and not just as part of suit packs. A Skull Commando Helmet would sell like hot cakes.
Yeah, I don't really get the current method either. The items should also be sold separately, buying the pack should get you a slight discount on said items.

I have a few emissive paint jobs that work fine in EDO. Vulture, Corvette are two off the top of my head, and my SRV Pulse ones.
My mamba paint (not emissive) wasn't shiny the last time I looked, but they're working their way through the catalogue.
i'm considering the ectoplasm pink, just for the pink jetpack

Yeah, they fixed some after launch, and left others. My iridescent scorch SRV paint is matte still and that already got a touch over. Both coriolis bobbleheads still broken too. Decals too last time I checked.
I know they're very slowly addressing them but it would've been nice if they did that before releasing their broken product into the wild while selling brand new cosmetics at exorbitant prices at the same time. I guess I'm asking for too much here.

Hey, maybe you don't get more than 30 FPS and are stuttering all over the place while your missions bug out and you're flying a ship with a paintjob that doesn't even remotely resemble what it looked like in Horizons, but at least you can dress up for Halloween.

That's what it's come to in Elite - it used to be about ganking, solo vs open, taking pot shots at NMS for looking so cartoonish. Here we are doing fancy dress throwing shapes at each other.
I've almost got enough free Arx together to spend it on the Adder ship kit which I almost purchased with real money (via Arx) but decided against it in the end, I might just rage buy that out of spite and in protest.
If only Midnight Black was still deep matte black and not shiny grey... makes the name of my Adder with it applied kind of non-sensical.
