Has anyone else noticed

Has anyone else noticed that it seems to be hard coded that right before the inspector arrives several animals engage in fights or suddenly develop low welfare and the inspector seems to always see these things?

Maybe. I tend to send my injured / starving (thanks bugs :D) animals to quarantine / vet so the inspector doesn't notice them.

That shouldn't be the case :) can you share a video of it happening?

Unfortunately I did not record a video of it happening. But it is nice to know that it shouldn't be the case. I am guessing that I apparently might have been doing something wrong somewhere and my timing was just bad.

I really just think this is a coincidence, as it never happened to me. I did have animals fighting for alpha status, but never when the inspector was at the zoo.

It seemed random to me; but coincidental. I had two animals fight six months before, another pair four months before, and another one month before. This is not what I consider hard-coded; just likely as you get a larger zoo and don't attend to babies becoming adults and vying for alpha status. You get a full year notification that the inspector is arriving.

What frustrated me was when a baby ostrich was literally standing next to their water; and complained of being thirsty. Then it complained of being dehydrated, and was getting stressed. The inspector was due. And literally when I'm like; baby is going to quarantine; protestors show up. So is it hard coded? No. Still find that coincidental, and see the baby as bugged on sight paths or knowledge of space.

This strangely happened to me every time the inspector was about 1 month of arriving - and then I would suddenly get every fine known to man - protester spotted, animal injured etc. I thought it was too regular - as in; I was making money and looking after my flock - but hit with fine after fine as the inspector roamed the park - even though it was all running well and dandy before they arrived and making heaps of money. It seemed odd that the fines, problems and alerts always coincided with the inspectors imminent arrival. Just my two cents - BRILLIANT GAME THOUGH - cannot wait for rides, thanks G
