Has anyone got GeforceNow working on a PS4?

I have managed to set it up on my old laptop and login is OK (I haven't copied my Elite PS account to PC yet).
I am on the free plan as I don't ave ED yet, and it seems to work OK on PC (tried some free games/trials), but when I use the PS4 browser, just get 'Error occurred' after a successful login.

After rebooting PS and router (Ethernet not Wifi) still just get the NVIDIA logo and it just sits there. Went in and running OK on laptop - just tried again.

Maybe the PS browser is just incompatible, but I'm sure I have heard of some Xbox users using GeforceNow on (Chrome?) browser for EDH and EDO.

XBox users have Edge (Chromium) as browser which is compatible with GeforceNow.
Not sure the default browser used by PS4 is compatible, but maybe you can install other browsers on your PS4? Like Chrome?

I believe (think) it's a PS4 thing to block everything that's not Sony. For Xbox, it's pretty simple as they are also Microsoft. I was following a guy who was doing a lot of YT streams about trucking games on all platforms and he always uses Xbox to showcase GeforceNow. Maybe because the reason that it doesn't work for PS4.

Apparently you can run Chrome on PS4. As in you can get it from PS Store.
That might solve your issue with GeforceNow

I still think it will not work for Spaceman, you need to understand that GeforceNow is in competition with PSNow. Like asking Frontier to do a stream of another space sim out there . I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that will be the issue.

The Ps4 has allways had a web browser in it.... but its web kit based not blink render engine based which is what powers chromium based browsers...
Changing the User agent by third party web site is not enough, you need the exclusive chromuim browser code that returns the correct code geforce now site spits out for compliance checks does not work in firefox ether for the same reasons... Geforce now did a deal and thats to get it to run on chromebooks which run chrome which is based of chromium... as gpogle submits the changes needed to the chromium OS project. so geforce now runs in Chromium browsers…

Jail breaks and custom firmware are not native PS4 they will' be just a PC OS running on the hardware.. you can do the same to second hand $50 PC laptop running linux and a HDMI cable and google chrome/ chromium web browser... and not toouch the PS4..

Geforce now runs on android TVs. android tablets, android tv boxes, any thing with offical chrome browser = so windows, linux, mac, chrome OS. Specific samsung TVs... And even via Ios via web browser

Geforce Now also runs on the following devices;
  • Apple iPadOS and iOS devices ( Safari )
  • WebOS , e.g. recent LG televisions
  • Nvidia Shield Pro

Barely… GeforceNow is not optimised for the Xbox version of Edge at all.

If you can get past the 2FA screens for both GeforceNow (it doesn’t render properly) and remember to enable input control… you‘ll be running Odyssey with:
  • Noticable input lag
  • Poor framerate
  • Screen resolution limited to 1080p
  • No surround sound
  • A black border around the entire screen (and the fix you’re about to suggest... that didn’t make any difference when I tried it)
You will only get the intended GeforceNow experience on either a proper computer with Edge/Chrome or an nVidia Shield TV Pro (which has an official GeforceNow app).
