Has anyone played on Steam Deck?

I haven't played in a year and a half. Odyssey really took the wind out of the sails of this game for me. I was a VR only player, and then the way it just made me lose interest completely.

However, now that I have a Steam Deck coming, the idea of playing handheld has me interested in checking things out again. Does anyone here have one? If so, how does it run for you? How hard was it to set up the controls?

I only ever played with a full hotas and pedals setup, so using a controller seems like it wouldn't even have enough buttons.

I'm now after 3rd quarter for mine..sigh.
I'm a VR player too and don't plan on playing ED on it, my Steam and Epic library have about 200+ games together that should work great on it so EDO isn't much a worry.
