Has anyone tried Palmer Luckey's RR1 repair kit for the sliding contact headphone design flaw?
I just came across this now. My first CV1 developed the fault and was replaced under warranty. When my second headset developed the same fault I didn't really fancy posting it away and having to wait Elite-free while my new headset arrived so I just used headphones instead. But having to deal with another separate wire for the sound is a bind. It's one of the things that attracted me to the CV1 in the first place
