Hatchbreakers Bugged?

Twice now I've pulled CMDRs and successfully hatchbroke them.... but no cargo drops?

Any other pirates out there experience this?

Did they confirm the limpet attached? Open is pretty laggy for me in beta, wouldnt be surprised if the limpet never attached on their client. Maybe try NPCs?

Maybe they weren't carrying any cargo.

1) I scanned them. They were carrying cargo
2) Message "Hatchbreaker limpet engaged..... target cargo dropped"

No cargo. Bug report and video incoming.

(Yeah, sleut, it could be lag from the beta)

Last time out I forgot Limpets so pretty much did that.

Is it possible that the cargo they had on board was mission cargo? I have noticed that cargo marked 'haulage' in the inventory doesn't get affected by hatch breaker limpets.

I doubt it. I'm outside of the CG, so it must have been CG cargo.

I started hitting the sauce early, so will have to check...

It didn't work... intro...

(And yeah, the hatchbreaker failed, and yeah, he did have cargo)

Yeah, i'm going to go to the CG and try attaching a sidewinder to the cargo hatch to see if it makes thing better.

Well it was bad enough before with cargo just ceasing to exist as it hit the hatch.

Now it's quit existing at all. Is FDev tell us something?

(The disappearing cargo but is so old. Its annoying)

Well that sucks, playing pirate is hard enough in this game without the dud HBs. Why do they have to make it complicated, the old elite you just blew up the ships and out popped the cargo containers, so much simpler.

They work now. The day after I made this post I was having no issues - must have been akin to an instancing thing. Will update the OP.
