Have Neutron Stars always had Gravitational Lensing?

What it says on the tin. I'm going through an unexplored field of neutron stars (hence the HUD being off), and noticed this one distorted the galactic core behind it.

Has this always been a thing? I haven't noticed this before. Do you have to be a certain distance away to see the lensing?

Yes and the old white dwarves
Not sure if you can see it on the updated ones

Still there, least it was when I last visited one
I don’t think you notice it because the stars shine obscures the lensing effect

It’s pretty interesting to see it in the system with the landable body close to a white dwarf (forgot what the systems called though)

Edit. Found it, it’s SPOIHAAE XE-X D2-9

Before they had been given the jet cones, the grav lensing was more or less the only reliable way to see them from further away.

Yes, it's always been there. It was more noticeable before the jets were added. But you can still see the stars whip around as you do a flyby of a neutron star.
