I have a Minecraft blockage caused by a 9 year old at the minute. Its completely filled the windscreen so I can't launch from Noli safely. Never fly with kids....

Haha, I've had the same issue! Our Player Group is having an internal contest, too. I can't hope to keep up with the standings, as I've been dodging Creepers all weekend with my daughter's...

It might not matter... But it changed my perspective on the xbox player base when i checked out the captures taken in the game... There are a lot of players constantly posting pics and vids. I generally add players who i like their captures and there ive found quite a few of the players ive flown with.

For what it's worth I've only had game since Sunday but have seen 8-10 players already. Not had any comms and had 1 who tried to intersect me

I purchased this game the minute it was released on Xbox One and have logged a few hours over the previous few weeks. However, I've never NEVER run into another human player the entire time. Plenty of NPC in both SOLO and OPEN play. I play OPEN 90% of the time in the hopes that I'll run into another XBOX ONE player but no luck. Is the community THAT small that the chances of me ever finding anyone are that remote and random?? I mean where the heck is everyone? Any advice would be appreciated. Loving the game big time. A few freezes and frame rate issues and the occasional boot back to the title screen for no reason but I understand it's a work in progress.

It's because many people are scared to play in open. A lot of people play in open when they are out in the middle of nowhere but switch to solo when entering populated systems. Why bother being in open where there's no people? I don't know the reasoning behind that one. Go to Jaques you'll find me in open 100% of the time...even in the bubble. I've never encountered a "griefer " or anyone with bad intentions. Be a man or woman and play in open!

That's where you see most of the players. Usually there are too many, all them commanders stealing my bounties....

I have managed to convince my 8 year old to play this on our other xbone. I've got her in flight school on a deserted planet at the moment she's doing well and got a good grip of the controls for landing and taking off.

Just out of interest I jumped into Erevate last night. There were 4 noobs in sidewinders pottering happily around in SC

I almost always see CMDRs in Erevate

I really don't get this, I bump into other cmdrs all the time. I pretty much always give em a wave o7 and get a response back a fair amount of the time. People in noobspace often prefer to remain cloaked in silence (or they just don't know where the chat controls are) but not all the time. Last person I waved o7 at replied back with a ?, I explained the salute thing and they seemed overjoyed! So that was nice.

If you're camped out in some random remote part of the bubble and don't see anyone, then it's a little like stranding yourself on a desert island and shouting WHERE IS EVERYBODY!, but there are some hubs of players here & there.
