Have they Delayed the Update ?

Yesterday they said Servers would be down in the Morning and at 11:00 they would do a Stream.
So I wasnt too surprised that my Launcher tells me that I need an Update.
But when I went to Check for the Stream. It now said 18:00 instead of 11:00.
And Steam is not yet even showing an Update waiting.

Have they Delayed the Update or did something go wrong ?

It's like 7AM. They probably haven't even turned up to work yet, let alone started rolling out the update.

And the day after a four day weekend.

Probably because some of the updates are server-side. Like I'd imagine they're going to pre-load Interstellar Initiative stuff to prevent needing another update at some point in the week.

IIRC they said the servers would be down for 6 hours (ish) to apply the update hopefully for 11 am. Looks like someone's in early getting on with it and they are on track.

Kind of moot really. Even if they allowed us to download the client update right now, we still wouldn't be able to play until the servers are updated.

Stream being delayed could indicate a patch delay, but it's still early days.

Anyhow, now I'm freed from the shackles of the Elite grind, I think I'll use the opportunity to do anything else.

I don't get the point of this thread. The servers aren't down, so the update hasn't started yet. Most likely FDevs day just started, so probably they will start soon.

But right now the servers are up, so the question remains: "why can't you?" when you say you cannot play. There is no trolling going on here.

EDIT: I also wen't in-game to check, nothing seems wrong there.

I don't think it was pushed back. It still says 11:00 UTC.

Steam Says the Game is Up to Date.
But the Elite Dangerous Launcher tells you to Download an Update and even Explains how to do so on Steam lol.

That problem's been around for a week or so - they messed up the steam installer, which went out last week - well before the patch later today. Look at some of the other threads for solutions, lots around.
