Have they fixed the CZ issue?

By CZ issue I mean you go to a CZ, pick a side, and every single ship on the opposing side immediately opens fire on the player. This happened to me, in a low CZ, while in my FAS and I was dead in less than 10 seconds. Haven't been back to one since.

No, it's still there, but it's a very minor issue once you learn to fly out of the middle of the fight to about 5km or so out, maybe a bit farther, and then choose a side. By the time you fly back into it you'll be fine.

Also dead in ten seconds in a FAS? man, what's your fit? I learned the hard way in a Courier not to choose sides in the middle of the battle and I survived a full 30 seconds before they lost interest in me and I was able to resume the fight.

Yeah, I always choose a side from the outskirts. If you pick a side before any ships show up on your sensors, they'll demolish your ass lol.

It was a while ago, and definitely not A rate. Probably a hodge podge from A-C. But when it happened was right after the patch so I was right in the middle and it took me by surprise. There was a lot of exotic ordinance flying and it all came at me.

Bro. CZ 101. Do exactly what they said. I personally get 8km out before picking a faction. I slowly ease my anaconda in (the ladies love me) and pick off the 1v1 dogfight freeing up an ally. The OGs used to call it forming a wolf pack. Personally I bring collector limpets and scavenge the ships I destroy. Engineers are so needy...

Same here. I haven't been back to one since either. Least you managed to last nearly 10 seconds - mine was more like 2-3. Didn't even have time to deploy hardpoints.

To be honest, I've not heard a single mention about 'fixing' it. Lots of complaints about NPCs being overpowered but nothing about rectifying it.

Same as the others, as soon as I drop in I throw my ship in reverse blue zone, till about 5-8 km away, scanning ships for data along the way. I also always select "highest threat" (hold A+down for me), at least in the beginning, it seems to always select a ship that is always being fired upon by a friendly.

I don't think any fixing is required, ya'll just have to acclimate a little bit. I'll have to admit, it took a little getting used to. Now I can take my Imperial Eagle to CZs, and still come out alive. I killed a corvette with a DBS just the other day. My new FAS? Pfffft. Trashin' em.

Just gotta adjust your strategy a bit, as a few mentioned before. Pick your battles, run when you must. Keep an eye on your sensors, if suddenly there's a whole lotta red, bail out. PIP management is more important than ever before.

If anything, WING UP! It helps to have someone to take the heat off once in awhile.

Keep trying. You'll get used to it soon enough.

Lol, yeah it can be aggravating. I also fly an FAS to CZs but I take it as an initiation to get my ship warmed up. Usually I'm done mopping up the first batch by the time 15 to 25% of my hull is gone, but there plenty of hull left after that and if most of my weapons and modules are still intact then it's usually smooth sailing.

Yeah, I attacked an Anaconda in a CZ with my "pack" and in about a minute, I found that my entire support got the "look! a squirrel!" syndrome. I was alone fighting the Anaconda and it had EXCELLENT SCBs! I had to do my "brave Sir Robin" act.
