Ships Haven't played for a year, have the devs fixed the Corvette ?.

Last year i (and many others who replied to my thread) was very disappointed with the state of the Corvette compared
with it's information, and compared with other ships . The Corvette is described as the heaviest military vessel from the federation
and is used to patroll the outer borders .
Ye it has a jumprange that isn't worth talking about. And strangely enough it has SMALL hardpoints, considering it's the heaviest military ship
from the Federation, and compared to ships like the Anaconda, it doesn't really output that much more damage..while the Anaconda does everything
else a lot better.. corrently setup 80Ly jumprange.

So i'm wondering. Has the corvette been changed to perform according to it's information or does it still have superlow jumprange and
little to no advantage in firepower !?.

The important bit to know about the Anaconda is that it can only achieve its massive jump ranges if you gut it out as much as possible. Sure, you can make a combat-fitted Anaconda jump 40ly, but that hardly a "massive" jump range when you consider that the Corvette will jump 30ly with a similar loadout and be significantly more tanky thanks to the extra SCB. When you consider that the borders of the Federation are less than 200ly from Sol, the Corvette does not need to have a massive jump range to be able to respond to threats to the border systems in a reasonable amount of time.

Small hardpoints on large ships are not meant for putting damage-dealing weapons on them, rather they are meant for putting "utility" weapons on them. Pulse laser turrets with emissive or scramble spectrum are a good choice, as are railguns with feedback or super penetrator. Not everything is about face-melting amounts of DPS.
That suxx. Guess i'm gonna give this game a thumbs down, and not return.
OK, have a nice day.

no advatages in firepower?? its the best war machine and lol you if you have an anaconde jumping 80ly i know for a fact its not going to do you a favour in combat! there are no ships that are far superior to others, what advantage one has will be in conflict with all other traits for example the badside or the weakness of the corvette is the armour but just because you cant handle it or play with the other traits dont say it needs fixing... weapon mods need fixing, bugs need fixing not exacle the ships, this is my opinion

TBH I'd gladly take two medium hardpoints instead of the two small ones. But then I don't participate in the multi-player aspects of this game and could care less about balance (or whatever the MMO types call it). However I'm not sure that doing that would make that much of a actual difference in gameplay.

Nothing wrong with my Vette. Its a monster and fully armed it jumps a little over 20Ly laden. You're not going to get big jump ranges with a Vettle like a Conda so I'd suggest buying a Conda.

It's not gonna change, is ok as it is.
The anaconda is the broke ship, it shouldn't be able to jump the range it does with its weight etc.

That to will not change, there would be up raw

I know mone chews Anacondas for breakfast. Haha. If long range needed, large fuel scoop it refills in seconds.

If done correctly, you dont stop at a star. You skim around it

Speaking from a purely PvE perspective, the vette doesn't need to "run off" from anything I've encountered.
Try go after some Thargoid Interceptors... it can be done for sure. But a bit more speed and the original hard points design would make more sense once the Corvette is supposed to be the ultimate fighting machine
