Having to take a break?

No, unfortunately I am going nowhere. This is a question thread, not a leaving thread.
In the heat of battle, whether in a CZ or RES area, do you ever feel the need for a break? Combat Zones will never run out of targets or craft trying to finish you off etc. So with shields, working fine and no damage or ammo issues, do you sometimes feel the need to just step back for a breather? Or do you just keep going and going, hour after hour, getting mentally, weaker until you start to make mistakes? Do you have a 'credit target', or like me, will only move away for repairs, when the hull is getting too damaged?

Sure I'll take a break, I think that is just natural.
If I don't get forced out of my instance, sooner or later I'll get fed up and either quit the game for a break or head out to do another activity.
And sometimes I set myself a credit target, I would still leave if it gets boring though. You can kill the game for you if you force yourself to play.

Are you caught in a 37 hour loop in your CZ and can't bring yourself to leave? :D

Never got into conflict zones as I never felt involved in the conflicts around me so far, but when bounty hunting in home systems or local RES, I make sure to leave with ammo dependent weapons so even if I do well shield/hull wise, always comes a point where I have to dock and re-arm. Only then I decide if I'm up for another outing.

Even with a healthy ship I find there there will come a time to bank whats collected 'cos you just never know what might happen.

or

To have Kit Kat :D

37 hours, I wish. My Cobra doesn't last that long in CZs. I have yet to reach the magic million, hull damage always pulls me out, especially with these new pesky Eagles, once a pack of them start on me, with their new, miracle shield stripping lasers, I have to run. These days, even stringing them out and pulling them away from the main fight, fails to work. I am looking forward to the day, where, I feel the need for a break, rather than having it forced upon me.

I stick around in CZ/ RES until I run out of ammo. Usually takes about 30 - 45 mins by which time I'm in need of more caffeine...

my wife forces me to take a break as she thinks its un-healthy to play as long as i do. so i get pulled away from them screaming and shouting at least once an hour :(

Yeah same here. Perhaps we can get them to take up pilates or something?

I fight until I have no more shield cell banks and my hull is well below 50 percent. I have a habit of taking on wings of 3 more NPCs regardless of rank lol.

I dont get bored by the game. sometimes I will leave a zone and dock , and do something else for a while but only to avoide making mistakes as elite for me is more than a game

To be honest, I do get bored with this game after a while. My gaming sessions are comparatively shorter than with other games. Right now, that means that an Elite session consists of going to an RES, using all my ammo and then parking at the nearest station to log off.
