HD 133031 The mysterious star, are there others that we can't even lock on to in GalMap?

So I was going through EDSM, ran across the star HD 133031 https://www.edsm.net/en/system/id/14827853/name/HD+133031
If you try to target it in GalMap it just flickers the information, after taking about 20 screenshots and spamming my screenshot button I managed to get it. Link to screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1339075198

So I know it's a G class star.

But has anyone managed to actually target it before?

Are there other stars like this one, so far outside the map that we can't even use the map to go see it?

Also I apologise if I did anything wrong, first time poster.

Thanks!

There are several pulsars so far "below" the galaxy map that, as soon as you center on them, the galaxy map "rubberbands" back up to your current location. The map is populated with procedurally generated stars and stars from actual stars taken from real-world astronomical data. Some of those real world stars simply fall outside the distance accessible in the galaxy map and are likely unreachable orphans of the Milky Way.

There are quite a few out there. I only recently learned about HR 386, which gives a breathtaking view of the Milky Way in the Galmap and probably a greater view of the galaxy in-system. And there's the classic Beta Phoenicis, which is a star system that's supposed to be less than 200 lightyears from Sol, but instead it's over 25,000 lightyears away, below the galactic plane and even further down than the pulsars Jaiotu mentions. HD 133031 looks to be insanely far out! I can't imagine the view of the galaxy from there.

In the reverse situation, there's a system out near Omicron Carina that you can search for in the Galmap and it scrolls to the correct position, but there's no actual star there.
Can't select it, bookmark it, or navigate to it.
It's another 'HD xxxxx' star so there was probably a glitch in process when they imported the data from the stellar catalogues.
