Falling is okay. It's hitting the ground that hurts. You just have to distract yourself and the right moment and forget the hit the ground. Sorted!
Exactly, I'm okay with the journey, it's the destination I'm afraid of.
The whale should have definitely taken that advice, instead of trying to make friends with the ground.

This made my night! I made the assumption that anyone playing elite dangerous would have read the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. I should have made it clearer for anyone that didn't sorry for confusion.
