Heatsink launcher at Sirius megaships

Are the Heatsink launchers on the Sirius megaships that are deposed at Witchhead and Coalsack those lightweight +1 ammo ones?

The ones awarded at the CG a couple of weeks ago were actually +2 ammo, without added weight, at a cost of longer reload time. (So four instead of two, or three with engineering)

I'd assumed the ones on the megaships were those, but last I'd heard on the Buur Pit news, they weren't available in any form there yet.

Wow, didn't realize they were 4 clip with no weight... I flew out to pick some up earlier today with all 8 slots on my Conda stripped so I could load up and have 3 for my 'burning-station T7' plus extras for other ships... A question about that reload time... Having 3 on the T7, will I still be able to keep firing in burning station since it should be able to take from the 'next ready' heatsink unit and cycle around... or will that 'delay' affect my firing times in total? Also I never purchased from a megaship. can I go back with a smaller ship when they become available and buy as many as I want and have them shipped to Shinrata later? (I love how Elite makes me feel like I'm shopping at Bestbuy, always out of stock... I feel like I should get a tent and camp out on the Megaship, waiting for them to open in the morning lol)

The grindy time is beloved- I can get by-my questions answered in Discords; thanks all.

The news, and apparently the CG for it, was probably mistakenly posted a week earlier. I didn't see the CG thing (should have popped on inara and anybody using the Fdev thing for that), but I assumed the HS news was a week too soon.

As to how common it is they do that kind of mistake ? Quite common actually :) At least for the CG being too early, the news not as much.

Frontier sent a message saying they think that by making those heatsinks available now would, in some way, harm the feeling of those who worked hard for them during the CG.

I did work hard to be top 25% and got 3 of these pre-engineered heatsinks... and by no means I feel unapreciated by making them available to everyone!

In fact, please Frontier, time to supply tech brokers with all CG modules to date...

Thanks in advance!

If they would start making CG stuff available soon after CG is over, they would loose advantage of using CG to manipulate content to their liking.

I'd need like 15 more of these pre-engineered heatsinks anyways... and by now, quite some time has passed so all CG modules that have been previously granted could be made availabe to tech brokers with no downside what-so-ever.

Believe me, it is way worse to say in-game that these modules were available just to take your word back after a week of people asking what is going on...

Or tomorrow we'll see.

Since they said they don't want to release it immediately, we can probably use the other released modules as a frame of reference. Generally they take between 3 and 6 months to release, if they do release; many have never released at all. So on average, 6+ months seems about right to me.
