Heavy scratch on coating - ragequit

Well the last couple of days or so I accidentally killed three CMDRs (two eagles and one sidey) then I entered the letter box on three different occasions (slow and nice).

All three dead commanders had one thing in common, they were in a hurry. In a hurry to the grave. I got a bit hurt in my Cobra, but I think people should be a bit more careful sometimes.

Later that night, in an ironic twist of fate I died ramming into a Type 7 freighter in a "letterbox" after "coming home bruised" from a bitter and long battle = rage and laughter.

Actually the lights are port and starboard lights red for port (left) and green for starboard (right), however you always keep to port in a ship so I do the same in game.. Always approach port from the port side :) f you both face each other then both of you turn to port :) martme rules seem to work for me :) oh and bigger ships get priority as they are slower to turn :p

As long as you both agree on which way is up ;)

Edit: ah see what you mean now, I interpreted port as left....

I actually do the same, Macman, I'll iiiinch toward the airlock, tilt a bit and see if anyone comes on, then boost, turning up my throttle while doing it... Some day I'll hit someone but that's why I have shields.

Edit: My Eagle's an explorer, I've dragged it home at 30% after I found a white dwarf and then had to run from an interdiction in the next system... Paint... is kind of a luxury for me, but one I patch up every time I dock at a repair capable starport.

i once decided to try and kill security vessels in a coriolis station. while in a viper.
don't do it.
my ego went back to it's place back then.
Then one time i full boosted while i was in a hurry to exit a coriolis station and missed the exit.
Patience is virtue!
ps. good thing we're space zombies.

The Cobra maybe wide but the tapered sides mean you can normally get by on a jaunty angle should another ship decide to bathe in the force field!
