Heavy shimmer in ED:H4

Wow is all I can say. The shimmer is really bad even though I have AA turned off. I know people are going to say "try using SS" but it KILLS my rate and makes the game unplayable. I'm running a Nvidia 1660 Super. The over VR games I have do not have this problem, just ED. Has anyone managed to do anything about this lack of optimization? Thanx.

Beyond disabling FSR, there isn't much you can do. 4.x has very harsh aliasing.

You could try using DSR then subsampling in-game.

I just came back to Elite after a while and tried 4.0, can confirm its trash. On the other hand, I'm happy to have my hard drive space back after uninstalling the 4.0 update
