Help! Can you help me get my 'conda out the slot

What?

I really don't get it. These threads pop up every week or so.

Are you REALLY having trouble of flying that ship out of or into a station?

It's easier than a T9 Heavy to fit in there.

There's spare room for a Python on the side!!!

I've flown both the T9 and Anaconda extensively, the T9 is easier to get out of the slot.

The problem isn't one of size, it's the placement of the Anacondas bridge. It's way up on top of the superstructure, pretty unique in the game, and that throws some people off until they get used to it. Once you are used to it then you'll find yourself boosting out on a regular basis. But a T9 is easier to get through, just match rotation and centralize the letterbox.

Troa made a video on it that you might find useful.

Yeah, thanks - I enjoyed that (server upgrade at the moment - LOL). Maybe I'll get around to doing some combat sometime but I think I'll cut my teeth using something whose insurance is cheaper than a 'conda. I did have an A-rated Vulture but as I said, I'm not that into combat. Currently I'm plodding towards elite in trading (that's why I bought the 'conda - after a few times only just escaping from large pirate ships in my T9) and then it's back to base, jump in my Asp and head out into the black to uprate from pathfinder.

I don't really want to bump this thread up but I just thought I'd like to make a final comment (or two).

Thanks to all the positive posts - made me much more confident in my new ship.

Thanks to all the miserable people that made horrible and disparaging comments - You stimulated me into becoming even more confident in my ship and my piloting and so allowed me to increase my cargo space by selling the docking computer.
