Off topic but I do have to just mention that whoever made that video was flying without insurance, not even enough for the stock ship...
what i would do is buy a docking computer
and then watch it fly through the letterbox observing how far your cockpit is away from scraping the top.
that will give you a rough guide of how much wiggle room you have.
Then just forget the wiggle room stuff & keep the docking computer![]()
No offence Bro', but how did you get to Anaconda level without working out the relative positions of Cockpit to overall ship "bulk"? LOL.
Well OK so I can actually get it out but very rarely without horrible scraping sounds and often I worry that I'm gonna get jammed and have over 11Mil insurance bill (plus 368t imps dead).
What I am looking for is a dummies guide to undocking the anaconda successfully every time.
I don't see how anyone can actually dock the beast manually, you just can't see where you are going really so the docking computer is a permanent fit as far as I am concerned. How I wish it could also function as an "undocking" computer.
So any hints / tips / links to useful videos will be very welcome.
