Thats strange. It should work if you select a side. Maybe raise a ticket. Which site are you going to. Also did you accept the mission at fallows station in the bulletin board first before going there. I go to chi lin 3 high cz.
Sometimes after a day of hunting you have to relax. This is the a photo of my ship, which hosted the after party with 1 of my wing-mates in the background.
Other times, you just need to relax on the surface and just take in the sexy ship!

Well, in all honesty, even if we still had to make a big push to victory and it was obtainable, I would now say let it fail. Why do I say this? I make this statement because there are those out there who don't know what a fair fight is. I was out in super cruise heading towards the combat zone in Ch'i Lin and was interdicted - okay that is fine. However, I was outnumbered by two Fer De Lances and some other one I don't recall - all three attacked and destroyed me despite being in an A-rated Anaconda. I have no problem loosing to a one-on-one fight, but this just proves that they are afraid of a one-on-one fair fight. I am willing to bet if someone was about to destroy any one of them in a one-on-one fight they would run with their tail between their legs (low waking out, combat logging, whatever)!! If those you of who outnumber commanders like this in a fight would knock it off, there would be far fewer people going to solo - it's your own stupid fault geniuses! So, in the meantime until you change your ways and wise up, quick your pathetic moaning about how there's no one around for PVP!
To the three commanders who were responsible (you know who you are), you'll get no "street credit" from me or many other commanders on this forum - as far as we're concerned the victory didn't count. Who is with me on this verdict??

Last night, I had two long sessions, I thought my headphones were borked, unplugged them shook them and tried some other ones. And the game also seemed to freeze for half a sec now and again, totally unplayable, both times last night (im talking good 2-3 hour sessions in one of the CZ's)
So its NOT my PC about to die a nasty death then! I thought the SD drive or G card was on its way out

Petty you couldn't call them out by name. People like that are the reason i play in solo alot. People like that should go back to COD and camp its the only way they get kills. And i bet you they got the money for those ships in solo too. I'm going to keep plugging away at the cg because ive put to much time into it already

Thank you commander - I would have ran but I was sending them a message over comms letting them know how pathetic they were for quoting their ridiculous by-law (paragraph, section, sub-section garbage) directive at me. I was irritated enough that I neglected pressing the engine boost button. Besides, I don't think I could've outran two FDLs - would've been lucky to low/high wake out of there.
You don't need to boost to high wake... Mass lock is irrelevant.
Yup, I ran into the same group. I was able to high wake away from them, but it still ruins the experience. Whats even more frustrating is that they smack talk like they're good pilots while you're boosting away from their gank squad, and then they go suicide in a sidewinder to get rid of their bountirs.
I've also noticed that some gankers have gotten smarter. They will take a wing of 4 into the CZ, align with the Emperors Dawn, and then target other CMDRs. Not against the rules, but certainly a crap move.

Theyre targeting Commanders specifically. Methinks its an effort to gank without incurring the associated bounty.
of course because when they are emporers dawn they may want to prevent the players achieving towards the CG.
Same morons got me too from the discription - got the Cmdrs name somewhere and I'll look for them when I've finished with this CG in Ch'i Lin.
I've been doing the CG in solo mode to focus on getting the credits in.
Three impossible CGs, each with a two week duration, two of them losing several days to a ceasefire. These are the kinds of goals where you think to yourself, "It's a long shot, but if we pull together as a community and actually do this thing the payout should reflect the ridiculous cutoff for success and effort required from the pilots, right?" Wrong =/ I'm not even sure it's worth flying back out there to pick up my reward, because I'd earn that much or more in a RES in the same amount of time. It's on the list of "I'll go pick that up if I'm ever in the area" items in my Transactions tab now.
Add all that with the time spent dealing with gankers, and I'm not feeling like my efforts were worth it at all. Honestly, this was my first community goal, and I'm less inclined to participate in more afer my experiences with this one. CG was poorly set up, rewards don't justify the effort, and being jumped by gankers was my first real introduction to PVP. I've wanted to try my hand at PVP now that I'm not "brand new," but 4v1 is beyond my abilities.
All in all, not a lot of fun.
There are some commanders that are great to experience PVP with; although they are not plentiful enough (probably due to the point I made in my original post in this thread). A couple nights prior to that encounter with those clowns I was interdicted by a single commander in a FAS. He had attacked and destroyed when I only had barely one ring left on my shields after having partaken in the CZ - was like ok, that happens, it was a one-on-one. He apologized over comms for being rude after I came back out in super cruise. He asked if we could then do a descent PVP since he was craving some and I said sure. How could I turn down someone who is polite and needing to satisfy the need for PVP the right way? He was even kind enough to not destroy me completely after having my power module degrade to almost zero (many systems down including thrusters and life support). That may have been due to me explaining that my insurance is 33,500,000 credits, lol. At that point we both agreed that he had a victory. Anywho, I would give him rep if I only knew his forum name. Commander, if you're reading this, I salute you!
