Help, delivery issue

Did you buy the cargo or pick it up from the depot?

You now have to manually load cargo for delivery missions from the mission acceptance screen. It used to be automatic.

The commodities in your hold miss the "haulage" tag, so I suppose you just bought the basic medicines from the market. It doesn't work that way though, the original mission cargo is still sitting at the source station's depot waiting for pickup. You need to reselect the mission from top of the faction's mission page after accepting it to actually load the cargo into your hold.

Second link proves that you didn't picked up mission cargo from the depot (in depot 2/2 means there's cargo waiting for pick up. It should be 0/2 in depot and 2/2 in your hold). Mind that delivery missions require delivery of THE commodity, not any with the same name. Looks like you bought basic meds from the market.

Short guide:
- delivery missions "give" you stuff to transport. Accept mission, load up from depot, deliver. Done.
- supply missions "require" stuff. First you must find the source, go there and buy required amount. Then deliver and done. Profit may vary due to purchase price fluctuations.

From the pics it looks you messed those two types of missions. Or simple beginners mistake. Happens.
Stand up tip - if you have a mission to some destination and your cargo hold is full - look after data delivery mission in the same destination. Those do not take space and you can stack up to 20 missions total (unlikely there will be that many). Nice additional profit as you were going there anyway.

Haulage missions require you to manually load the cargo from the mission screen. This was added rather than auto loading cargo as it allowed people to take missions and swap ships without the board refreshing and the commander losing a good potential earning. Lost count of the number of times I've swapped ships then taken off jumped and realised I left the goods in dock.

Acquire commodity missions are different and rely on your sourcing the goods yourself.

There should be a bar with + and - when your on the mission screen.

Yeah, after being absent from the game for the best part of year, I recently fell foul of this change and didn't know I had to collect the goods from the supplier. Very annoying, but as far as I can tell, it means you are also able to take the goods in multiple trips if you don't have the cargo space immediately.

I think we all failed to pickup cargo the first time when they changed it, but navy cargo missions are still the same.

Yeah, you never have to pass up on that one last awesome mission with the mats you were looking for all week just because you grabbed something higher up the list, or are shy of cargo space for a single run due to previous cargo or just pure capacity. Rack and stack is much more viable now. I think this was a great change for vets and rookies alike.

Only thing that needs iteration is a slightly better marking for your source station to QoL multirunning, but the dotted lines on the Galmap help with that for now.
