Help FD With new loading screen TIPS

A recent thread revolving around Security 'stealing kills' being resolved by informing OP he can turn crime reporting off to avoid this made me think about how many things there are that are extremely helpful to know in ED, that likely go un-noticed by many. Even after a lot of play. Nearly every elder CMDR knows what I mean.

So, let's offer tips we wish had been given to us earlier in our careers. This could be an easy way to incorporate tips CMDRs find valuable. The loading screen tips are just an array of strings that some intern could spend 15 minutes tossing in, it's the brain work that is costly. So let's see what we can do, because we know FD staff aren't half the CMDRs we are ! Maybe FD will like this and some of us will get to see our tip someday when we boot up our ship!

• Pitch in your loading screen tip, formatted as a loading screen tip.
• A tip must be provided.
• No debates or quoting unless someone gives factually inaccurate information. This is not an IMO thread.
• Vote with likes or remain silent, unless a tip is inaccurate.
• Avoid drifting and chatter
• If you feel someone's tip is good, but could've been worded better, quote it and offer your spin.
• If someone provides a spin on your tip that you like, edit your post to reflect it and tag them.

My tip;
Don't want Security jumping in on your fights? Turn off crime reporting in your Internals panels, and Security won't come to your aid.

Explorers. Don't waste your time searching the far reaches of the galaxy to scan Earth Like worlds. Simply filter your Galaxy map for Agricultural economies in the Bubble and scan those Earth like worlds instead. The Cartographers don't care that billions of people already live there and will pay you handsomely anyway.

1) Don't hide away in solo, get out into open and don't be affraid to throw up an o7 when you see a hollow square on your scanner, you will learn more from flying alongside other cmdrs.
2) never under estimate a smaller ship, just because you have an anaconda doesn't mean you won't get your ass handed to you by a sidey.
3) Use the tools provided on the galactic map they are actually useful.
4) never waste money on torpedoes.
5) never fly without at least 2 rebuys
6) dont fly safe, fly dangerously you will learn you limits.
