Help! GPU does not have enough memory to run Planet Coaster 2.

When launching I am getting the message:

GPU does not have enough memory to run Planet Coaster 2.

Please check that you have a DirectX12 compatible graphics card with enough available memory.

0: NVIDIA GeForce MX550 (1620MB)

I updated my GPU Driver via GeForce Exp but still won’t launch.

What do I need to do? I’m a complete novice at this stuff

That's very disappointing - runs all other sim games fine, not exactly a cheap bit of kit I'm running it on!

Refund requested.
I'm sorry a 2gb graphics card in almost 2025 has not much to do with this game, I would say a decent system now a days has 8gb on their graphics card.. Yes Planet Coaster 1 and 2 have some performance issues but a 2gb graphics card on a laptop you can't do many modern games on that with graphics like these.

What other sim games you play on there?

Sorry to be that blunt, but it's exactly a cheap bit of kit you are running

PlanCo 2 Minimum system requirements for GFX are listed as: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB VRAM) / AMD Radeon RX 5600XT (6GB VRAM) / Intel Arc A750 (8GB VRAM)
That's quite a steep increase from PlanCo 1 minimum gfx requirements: nVidia GTX 560 (2GB)/AMD Radeon 7850 (2GB)

Edit: your GeForce mx550 with 2gb vram is way under the minimum specs for PlanCo2

So, unless you plan to upgrade or play PlanCo 2 through GeForce Now, you should refund.
