When I parked up last night I was at around -17.905, 164.230 which was at the top of the slop from the place Bomba camped. Count and I headed off up the slopes after the party broke up (see Bomba's post for that - heading to get up there was roughly 70 (ish) if I recall correctly. (And for full disclosure, after a tour of the sights earlier I'm parked somewhere way different now but will head back along the ridge towards his general direction once I get back online in about 2hours ...)

I've been hunting mats on the NE Plateau, going to return to the campsite at Bombas Ridge, may see you there in a few hours after I have cleaned the SRV and done the dishes.

Hello CMDR's,

Erm, not to sure how to put this so I'll just come right out with it...

I need someone to come and get me... No I've not Bomba dived into a hole! Only one CMDR can manage that and get away with it It appears that I have arrived in the correct system, which is surprising as all of these stars look so similar to each other, except the small ones I cannot get near. Stop rambling Bran! Ah yes, the point, well it seems as if the ship, yes that's right I'm blaming Ahhotep for this little mishap, has downgraded the scanners to just basic. It's either her or I've forgotten to pay the subscription fees.

I tried to work my way out on what I figured was the planetary plane given the location of some asteroids but to no avail. Currently I am orbiting the main star with two option's: Return to Quince, get a right royal ticking off from those Foundation folks or ask if one of you kind gents could come and escort me from the star to Planet Wilson. I'll be ready to make the journey at approx. 8PM Galactic Standard Time should anyone have stopped laughing long enough to help.

I just add me in game (PEREGRINUS19) & I can lead you back to Planet Wilson ...I am hoping to stay up for the next 10 to 12 hours...get myself back on a night schedule

8 pm UTC - should be OK - probably a good idea to refill the tank anyway since I have been donating fuel since I got here! Also went for a tour of the sights with Peregrinus19, Cajuncontroller and Fortitude Smythe earlier so that used up quite a bit! Funny seeing the sights in person that I have only seen on screenshots so far, though it does look a little different when the ships are 2 Cutters, a Python & an Asp! Bit more crowded than before ... pictures to follow so no spoilers

And an excellent jaunt it was too. Thanks to all three of you chaps for welcoming me into the fold and showing me the sights. I look forward to doing it again soon.

Even Fenchurch seemed to enjoy himself. Unfortunately he has a deep and instinctive distrust of strangers. Amongst his kind such encounters often end with a bash on the head and a loss of hard-won rations. Despite this, he has put a pillow-case on his head and is doing his happy dance. On prior experience, that usually means good things. It may even be safe to let him make curry for supper this evening.

Hopefully I shall have some pictures of my own to post in the near future.

Had an interesting visit to the Planet Wilson today, met up with Peregrinus, Kietrax and a new friend Fortitude Smythe. Peregrinus and I hosted the first unofficial tour of Bomba's adventure. Wilson seemed to be in a good mood at the time so off we were.....

That was the unofficial tour of Wilson, we hope to have a brochure and pamphlets available soon for the official tour, and it should be starting on Wednesday, which Wednesday, well that has yet to be determined.

lol I have uploaded screenshots into an album on Imgur of the tour we did on Planet Wilson ...though I think we forgot to collect the credits for the Bomba Tour Package ...oh well lol

I am 1/2 way done creating the part 1 or 2 video of the tour we gave ...going from Boba Ridge to the start point where Drake, Tarrakis (I hope I spell your name right), & I first encountered Bomba -> Camp Tea Party -> Pit of Despair (couldn't find your keys down there, sorry Bomba) -> thru the Valley of Drake -> Plateau of Hope -> thru Intersection of Doom -> turn right to Mom Valley -> past the safe drop for Bomba -> Camp Fish -> Counts Landing -> Bomba Point....
looks like I will have to split the tour in the video between Camp Tea Party & the Pit of Despair....

I am in an Aspex and it REFUSES to land!!

I have all blue on the radar, Blue Level indicator, ALIGNMENT OKAY it says in blue, yet I try gently and I try slamming, it WILL NOT LAND!!!!! :O

Can't hover around like this forever!

At least I dropped my supplies down to tha BBQ!

@Peregrinus, we didn't charge yet because it's not an official tour just yet. Patsy and Count are going to do the official ones. Consider ours as a kind of shakedown for future customers. I think Count was going to hire us as Pilots ( we all know about his landings even his Asp knows), so we better know what we're doing least he find other talent.

I've been getting this too, also in an AspEx. I've even used the debug camera to check that my landing legs are down. It seems like sometimes the game refuses to acknowledge that you have lowered your gear. You can tell it's happening because normally when you drop your gear you great a text prompt in the top right of the hud, saying 'landing gear deployed' as well as getting a voice prompt from the ships computer. When you are suffering from the issue, you get the indicator light, but not the text or voice prompts.

I can't figure what causes the issue yet, but I know how to fix it. Point yourself straight up and enter supercruise. Blast up to around 50km altitude, then hit j to drop out of SC and fly back down to ground level. Your gear should work properly again.

I was experiencing the same thing too, I sometimes had to move slightly and then land harder than normal, but not too hard. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. Didn't know if it was a bug or the planet.
