Help needed urgently in eotienses!!!!

Just a curious question from a staunch Fed pilot to the interdictors - why do you guys want to stop Patreus?

Patreus doesn't care about the Empire, he only cares about himself, which makes him too dangerous to have the entirety of the Empire's forces at his disposal. Hurting Patreus keeps the status quo.

Pirates incur the same if not more risk. I was trading today and SushiCW interdicted me. That's fine. It's part of the game. I parked my space truck and came back with a vulture and knocked him down to 50% hull. If I was a better pilot I might have had him. If the rest of my clan had the day off they might have had him. That's the way it goes.

I think theses different styles of play add to the game. If you don't want to accept the risk don't play in open. And just because someone shoots holes all through you doesn't mean they're automatically a greifer.

If you were a better pilot?! That was one heck of a fight, and I like to think that I'm no slouch myself. :) First time I've tried the "railgun cobra vs single PA Vulture" matchup, it was lots of fun.

Is why i dont play open...let the pew-pew guys shoot fish in barrels

^ same as this.

Open is only for those who are able to cope with the fact that your game enjoyment may be the price paid for someone elses. If thats not an acceptable trade, to be unhappy playing the game - then choose solo and bypass them, or choose not to do community goals.
It sucks, but the playerbase as a whole has made this so.

Oddly enough when I got interdicted by three Anacondas they wanted me to yield and something about a travel pass, so seemingly nothing to do with the political situation in Eotiensis, despite blockading the system. Luckily my Clipper was able to boost away mostly intact despite only having D6 thrusters.

And it was awesome. Despite almost dropping a brick, the escape and mad corkscrew dash for the station felt fantastic :)
