Help please! - Bulkhead fitting problem (Fer De Lance)

Ok soooo.. I have just bought Fer De Lance, and Im trying to fit a new bulkhead to it (Mirrored surface composite) in place of the standard one. The bulkhead is in my storage, but for some reason wont give me the option to fit it to the ship...

I have searched the forums and I cant seem to find anything that says these bulkheads are limited to certain ships.

Am I doing something wrong? thanks!

Let me get this straight. You're trying to fit a bulkead bought on one ship on another? You can't. Bulkheads are a part of the hull itself. All ships have separate bulkheads, they're not interchangeable.

Every type of bulkhead is limited to the ship type it was bought for.

After all, you won't expect to be able to fit a Sidewinder bulkhead (4 tons) to a Type-10 (150 tons)?

And yes, the problem that the bulkheads in storage don't show which ship type they're for has frustrated me many times. Just sell them :rolleyes:.

oooooh... ye... ok.. so ye - I bought the bulkhead when i was flyin my Explorer.. so you are sayin this will ONLY fit the explorer right..? Ye - makes sense now i guess.. but ye they should label the bulkhead with the ship it goes with i guess. Thank all ;)) This was gonna frustrate me for a while else lol

You can correlate which armor it is by the price.
