Hi all,

I bought Jurassic World when it first came out and I have just returned to it now, I bought the Jurassic Park expansion.

I am just wondering, with Sandbox, is there a way to play whereby I can simply start fresh on an island, start my own park with a small budget, have all my dinosaur genomes at 0% or maybe one or two dinosaurs unlocked? I tried Sanbox and I didn't like having the unlimited budget so I set that to "low" but having all of the genomes already sort of takes the fun out of the game? Is there anyway I can start a very basic sandbox?

With sandbox mode, you could have your budget low but the dinosaur genomes are unlocked based on the maps you 4 starred in campaign mode. There is no way to make the dinosaur genomes start from zero in sandbox mode as of writing this.

If you want to start totally from scratch building your park (zero genomes, enough money to get things started, and grow from there). I could recommend challenge mode on medium difficulty, it basically starts you off with nothing but a few million dollars to get things started, no genomes though. Medium difficulty is quite easy and not stressful, and you get to unlock all researchable options and dinosaurs as you raise your star rating.

I hope this is what you are looking for, as there is no sandbox setting as of yet that lets you start from scratch. I find challenge mode fills that niche well.
