Herbivore feeders and herbivores eating grass

I've noticed several herbivores eating the grass but their statuses don't read as feeding but roaming when they are obviously eating the grass and their food level's not affected. If they eat from the grass and the trees. What's the need for herbivore feeders. You guys need to update that.

Herbivores only eat from feeders. Them eating grass is only a visual.

I think it's to make it more like the books and movies... With the lysine contingency and all.
