Hey frontier - you broke the game

I ticketed this and an hour later it was all working fine. Then I closed the ticket.
My missions were still there. My cargo was still there.

I wasn't able to finish a couple of the missions in time.
One of them gave me a message about extending the time because the goods were so important to them - and gave me an extra 12 hours (or 16?).
The other ran out of time and stopped on 0h00m but still paid full whack when I turned it in.

Either it fixed itself or "Well done Frontier Devs!" Thank You.
Then I played for 6 hours. :D

I'm glad they fixed this quickly, but I'd like to know if I'm the only whose refinery bins and unsold exploration data were both flushed today? I feel it may be an unintended side-effect of this fix.

Dear Commanders,

We have just finished issuing credits refunds to everybody inconvenienced by this afternoon's server problem.

Commanders should find that their credits balance has just automatically increased to cover the value of all cargo scooped, missions completed, ships, modules and commodities sold.

For those missions which rewarded reputation instead of credits, we have refunded the purchase cost of the commodity units that would have been donated to the minor faction instead of awarding the reputation increase.

We appreciate your patience for the past 3 hours whilst we've calculated these refunds, so we have added a 20% bonus to all credits refunded which we hope will go some way to offset your time spent waiting.

Haulage cargo that has become stuck in your cargo holds because the mission is no longer present, should already have been cleared the next time you load into the game.

If you continue to experience troubles caused by this afternoon, then please log a support ticket in the usual way so that we can examine your circumstances individually.

Love

The Server Team

And this, right here, is why FDev is so awesome to it's players, and why we should do what we can to support them in return.

Cheers, Mr. Brookes & The Server Team, and have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Michael

I and many others in the Bug & Support Forum are still waiting on a fix for Ship Maximum Cargo Bug.

I appreciate your comments on this and the teams efforts to try and fix the problem but raising tickets doesn't help, we are left waiting, unable to play the game, hoping that our tickets are somewhere near the top of the other 100,000+ tickets you've probably recieved. Is it not possible to create a sticky in the support / bug forums where players affected by things that are stopping them from playing the game at all, can be collated and worked through as a priority?

Surely issues like this should take priority over tickets such as " Where's my free Paint Jobs, Digital Artbook " etc etc, seeing as players with those issues are actually able to play the game.

Ticket raised " #00000007848 " over 48 hours ago, still listed as NEW.

Regards

Sicknote

Seems to still be happening...bought and hauled CR150K of cargo for two missions, tried to hand them in and got the message that it couldn't communicate with the server. I logged out and back in and the missions still need to be handed in but the cargo is now missing from my hold.
