I'm on the Xbox one version of ED. I don't see this mission at Tanaka gateway. It might be because my combat level is too low. Right now I'm mostly harmless. This also appears to be an Imperial outpost.

That's because the mission is longer available, the community event ended early this morning CST.

This also appears to be an Independent outpost. I just looked up the leader in power play. I did kill one random npc's pirate so far for about 17k credits.

I just wish I'd checked for new CG's before heading back to my adopted home system in Fed Space, it just doubled my travel time to get there now... Fortunately there's a couple of weeks on it so my meander down there for a bit after picking up a few bounties at home
