Horizons High wake in system

I finally noticed it for real.
I was in system and 2 NPC's were near me. I low waked towards my target station and the 2 NPC's high waked to the same station.
Not Bloody Fair![sour]

I think all your multiple problems with the game are a result of a total lack of understanding of what is going on around you.

Don't be ridiculous! The NPC fed scanned me, so he was not high waking from another system or anything.
I have seen this happening a lot, but wasn't sure of what I was seeing. Last night I saw it for real.

And not a total lack of understanding! Only 50% Still not bloody fair.
Well, maybe fair as the NPC's didn't effect me, so no probs bob.

What do you mean NPCs high-waked within a system? Do you mean the bright dots that fly by you? They are in SC, same as you, but for some reason are not as limited by surrounding masses (e.g. the slow-down experienced passing planets in RELATIVELY close proximity). They always seem to accelerate to higher speeds, faster.

He scanned me then went from one side of the system radar to the other in between one and two seconds. I'm just making the point that as I spool up to low wake, he was where I needed to go. Took me about five or ten minutes and he did it in a couple of seconds.
That was what I meant about high-wake speed from being ststionary to way over there in a couple of seconds.

And since it was mentioned that an NPC would be in super cruise, same as me, many NPC's only take a second or two to go from one side of the radar to the other. And the white dots travelling in supercruise pass me like I'm going backwards.

I live with it. but it is unfair. Not that it affects the game in any way.

That happens, it's called sensor scaling. Google it.

NPC's spawn
They don't wake anyways

Even in Beta with the nice sound and approach they just spawn technically and don't use FSD's. This mess was just decorated with flowers but it is still fact that NPC's only spawn!
