It must use profit rather than sale value for purchased goods because my largest transaction came from mining (where sale value and profit are the same) and that is shown accurately in the codex.

An obvious question, sorry, but did you log out after making the transaction but before taking the codex screenshot? Some things - such as contributions to Community Goals - need a relog before they show up.

I bet it sees each page sold as a separate transaction since you can’t sell ALL your data at once...just a page at a time.

For Exploration the highest payout is for one system, not for the page you sold.

I did a transaction of 7kk CR:

But in Codex > Stats > Trading > Highest Single Transaction, I only see 6kk CR:

I expected to see 7kk CR at this place because as far as I know, the Highest Single Transaction in Elite Dangerous means the transaction amount (7kk CR) and not the transaction profit (6kk CR).

Is it a bug?
