Hive Radio - Thargoid Tuesday Again tonight! At last!

Greetings Commanders,

Firstly, a special thanks to Commander Brandon Yaeger for the snazzy new Hive Radio logo! More graphics from him on the show!

As many of you know, Hive Radio reports on the activities of the Hive, a cross-platform group of anti-Thargoid specialists based out of Titan's Daughter in Taygeta. Tonight is Thargoid Tuesday and will be live streamed (simulcast) to Twitch and Youtube. The cast is from PC but we also feature XBox and PS4 streams and movies from Hive Commanders.
Chief of Staff and Squadron Leader Silicon_Assasin will be online with me and we'll be on Hive Discord. I recommend that you subscribe to one of the two streams below and you'll be automatically advised when we go live.

Planned Start time is 1900 GMT/Game time - stay tuned!

This Thargoid Tuesday cast has taken months to get back to, what with Cone-gate, Guardian SLF acquisition and the defence of another three systems against Thargoid molestation. Happily, The Hive's defence of Argestes was so successful earlier in the week that we've managed to get a few days off before the next attack. Thus Thargoid Tuesday is a go and tonight we'll do what the Hive does best. Saving Humanity killing interceptors near our home base, Titan's Daughter in Taygeta.

Tonight I'll be trying out a cold build, or various cold builds, on my Krait while trying to avoid a rebuy. It'll be a free-for-all combat broadcast from the cockpit where my canopy is often cracked, in the nicest way.

In any event it's all paradigmatic because though I fly on PC all Hive platforms will be in the black tonight, so should you wish to fly with us please announce your intentions to Hive Command by getting in touch with Silicon_Assassin, Gosht, Jay Caver on PC, Lagnered (PS4) or LordOfWar (XBox) KingHastur (Xbox)

Watch unbelievable closeups from the safety of your space-station as Ninj (from Op Ida) dances with a Basilisk... (at about 1 hr 23 min)
The Hive then dispatched the insect. We slayed many Cyclops with or without insects inside.
It is unknown but we're working on it.

The Hive are a lovely bunch of people. It was a lot of fun to be invited along and see the great work they get up to. While I enjoy repairing stations, it's also nice to see some of the dedicated effort that goes into stopping those thargys from creating more trouble (and more work for the community that I represent).

That said, the basilisk I met tonight was a great dancing partner. Strictly speaking, I'd give them 10 out of 10 Len's. [cool]

Thanks! Looking forward to protecting a convoy for Op Ida! The Basi was a fine sample of the species....we were all there for the biscuits....

It's too bad that defense of systems can be done in Solo and PGs and not just Open. It would be most excellent if we could realistically try to prevent you murderers from killing Thargoids.

I helped The Hive accomplish its mission for Argentes in open. I usually have a PvP build at hand. In fact we're looking for a Far God devotee to interview on Hive Radio.

All the action tonight was in open. It would be most excellent if you had turned up and joined in the dancing! :D

I spent a lot of time in Argentes (in Open of course). Just not nearly enough people in Open for us to even hope to have a chance of manipulating the decision of whether a system flips to damaged or not. Clearly, the vast majority of Thargoid fighters do so in Solo or PGs.

I'm in the two systems, in Open, every day on PC. So not sure what you are talking about.

I meant that all the action tonight was in open, no hiding at all from us. It's a shame that the current method of instancing doesn't always work out. If you watch the video linked, I had some peaceful fun with a thargoid. As someone who clearly likes them... you missed out. That's all. Hope you can enjoy the amusing and peaceful interaction here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/314694393

As Gosh said before - they're looking for a Far God Devotee to interview on Hive Radio. If you're interested then you should contact him. Journalism isn't complete without exploring all sides of the story.

Maybe it would work better for you if you issue a PvP challenge to The Hive next time and we can meet on an equal footing, as in I would know to use PvP build instead of getting slaughtered when I'm at 20% hull with not even any Guardian weps ammo...

agreed...but I'm just a lowly member and command doesn't always listen...I will suggest adding it...Thargoid Thursday, to our agenda on Thursdays...however it will not affect our Tuesday misison
