Why? They didn't say that it was exclusive to all backers who are less than elite in at least 2 ranks, are elite 2 in one rank and elite 5 in 17 different ranks and only if you've had less than 42 insurance claims AND have a copy of the original 1980s box set. AND your original backer name has a vowel and diacritical mark in it.

As I said, they didn't say it. Just sayin'.

Why not, more variety is the spice of life. I personally hate the look of the current Python. This thing is sexy.

There's no reason why they couldn't do 30 paintjobs to give away as drops on Twitch, yet they do only 4.
I think that says why it's only 4 variants.

(Will this functionally be “heavy medium” ship, I wonder. And I guess we can keep the doomsoftware 9000 in the drawer for now.)

I did think it looked a bit Star Trek-ish in parts of its design. And maybe with some Adder ‘winglets’ on top.

Will be curious to see what the other three ‘variants’ are. And how much they differ from their base/default counterparts.
