you could try comparing versioninfo.txt.new with your friend. OR your friend could lend you the acc info so you could try and install horizons from that

The 64bit 1.5 is not showing in my launcher. Beta - not working [installer not available] lifetime pass. As I said. This is so dissapointing.
Despite there being errors and some people having troubles getting the beta. It is still a beta and that inherently means there are going to be issues and anyone who doesn't appreciate the work the devs are putting in too make the game and make everything work have little concept in my opinion of the hard work all this kind of stuff takes and should not buy beta or early access without understanding they are not paying for an exact release date for a finished game. I for one think the devs are doing a great job and I love the game, have not got my horizons downloaded but will be patiently waiting for everything to be up and going.
FD didn't think people liked their game so they cut back on their servers. You will just have to wait.
Just to make a clarification, I was a beta backer and bought the expansion with beta access and it is not visible in my downloadable products either and using the launcher from the other link I get the error when trying to download, so it isn't just LEP owners.

Thanks for the update Michael. Couple of things:
- Not sure that the lack of availabillity of planet landing module etc is only due to the location - I was at Founder's world with other players. I could see all the items I wanted on the list, but they said they could not see them, then after a few minutes suddenly they saw them, then they vanished again. Everything was ok for me. May possibly be due to servers still syncing up?
- I noted that ships that I already own do not have a planet landing module, but ships that I buy new have one alrready fitted. Is that intentional (the latter)?
- How do we know which installations on the surface have landing pads?
- How do we drive the SRV away from our ship? I managed to land next to some kind of base, and I wasn't the only one with that idea as I ran into commanders Mobius and Astrodamus at the same location and landed next to them (wow by the way) We managed to launch our SRVs from the ship, but we couldn't drive away from the ship. Log out and in again and our ship had been dismissed and now we can drive the SRV. Is there some special control you must use to release the SRV once it's on the ground?
The module is available in various places but should be always availables at Beagles Landing and Jameson Memorial - if it;s disappearing then that's a bug.
New ships should have them fitted.
When you look at the surface installation in the planetary map you can see if it has docking facilities.
It depends on the terrain and the ship, but it's usually easiest to drive straight back.

Can't start/upgrade Horizon Beta 2.0
Hi everybody, i need some help here.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong, i can't start/upgrade Horizon!
Things i tried so far:
Tried to upgrade Horizon Beta 2.0 (but from the beginning the button says "play"), downloaded launcher and installed it, upgraded 1.5 beta 64bit...
But when i press "play" at Horizon Beta 2.0, the button gets a little darker (only for about 2 seconds) and then gets a little brighter (just like before klicking "play")... and that's it! :S
Can someone help me or do i have to wait for a fix? THANK YOU

Um... it's not just lifetime expansion customers with it missing from downloadable products. It's missing for me and I just bought the horizons beta separately, the day you started pre-order for it. I suspect you'll find all of the people getting the "not available" error have horizon missing from their downloadable product list.... it's two symptoms of the same bug?

same had me, when i updated 1.5 ships 64b version i had horizons beta Play button, but it wont launch, it's bugged, wait for fix
Yeah, sadly seems it's "too hard" to add us into the bucket on that fix and we'll have to wait tomorrow :/
Lets wait for fix, their customer database messed up for some reason, so till then, Horizons beta will come SooN
Same for me. Bought Horizons with beta access a few months back. Not in the downloadables list in the account and giving server rejections in the launcher. The order for it is there, though...
