Being totally honest here. I'm really pleased that you guys and girls are getting the Horizons update. To say it adds so much to the game is probably the understatement of the year.

Wait till you land on a planet for the 1st time and send your ship off to a low orbit.....Oh boy that's something to see.

:D

Just remember to flood the xbox forum with multiple threads on the same subject to keep the Green Flair "Special" one busy... heh heh heh....

Evil inni?

I have a big question im 35000 light years from sol will I need to come back to be able to equip my ship I'm not too bothered about the vehicles (srv) to get on the surface..can I land my ship onto the surface as it is or do I need to buy another module back in the bubble

On the PC, I seem to recall ships automatically had a planetary landing module fitted (which is required to land on planets), if you wanted an SRV - that required a hanger module purchasing and fitting at a station.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I my recollection is wrong.

Frontier did put someone back in the bubble so they could fit an SRV. I'm sure they could do the same if you ask nicely

I'm screaming at oblivious collegues at work in happiness and anticipation!

That said, so has anyone confirmed that 1.6 will be there next week for us?
Or together with 2.1?

I'll need like a month off damn it!

Sweet, although i'm dayshift that weekend, all good. I'll let the hustle and bustle clear first and get me a copy on the sunday, smashing guys looking forward to it.

looking forward to the 3rd.... how glorious it will be to land on a planet, step uit in a SRV and just drive....
now we only need to be able to walk around inside our ship, then everything would be perfect. but first, HORIZONS!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, remember, the 3rd of June.....
