Hot damn! Slipstream for Eagle, iEagle & Courier may be the best skins ever!

It's the go faster stripes, isn't it? ;) Personally, I prefer ships that look utterly beaten up and useless, but under the hood they have been modified to keep up with the best of 'em. :) But then, I like surprising people every once in a while...

Bring on pay-day... Promised myself no new game stuff because I'm hoping to get into VR by the end of the decade... But a fiver for an orange slipstream Eagle and white detailing? Yes please!

I'm shocked that no ones complaining yet about how FD is gouging it's loyal customers, and this stuff should be included in the base price, and it's causing psychological trauma, and blah blah blah...

Basic colors should always be free or very close to it ($0.50 ea or something). They take no effort, give people a bit of diversity, and are a great way to get people thinking about buying cosmetics. It's a tried and true practice. Actual designs that clearly required work should always cost something. Skins like these Slipstream skins require no justification for charging. Paid skins should have always been like this and the Medusa skins for example. Show a little effort if you're going to ask for money and people will reward you accordingly. I'm pretty sure this is where most people stand on this matter and maybe you misunderstood or misread that. People don't want everything free; they just don't want to be charged for something that doesn't take a software engineer to see took next to no effort to create (solid colors).

Hopefully these recent skins are a sign of good things to come, moving away from lazy color palette swaps that were often and deservedly criticized.

Moar pix plz :D

Since you asked nicely :)

You can apply the raider goodies for that look. :)
