What is a HOTAS.

I think I ran over one outside of Albuquerque.

That said I think it is some kind of controller setup.

It's that feeling you get in your butt when you've spent waaaay too much time sitting playing Elite and promising yourself that one more trade run before sunrise...

Seriously though if you want to get the most out of the Elite experience then aquiring a
HOTAS of some description is pretty much essential.

Hello:
I don't any idea what acronyms mean.

I all ready have all the hardware Ill ever need.
The FD control menu can't handle them.

I have FSX but never logged on the forum.
I never join online.

I did find a use for my rudder w/toe brakes.
rudder = lateral left/right
Left / Right Toe brakes = vertical up/down

Joy for pitch roll ect.

Helps me in station landings
