How about a velocity vector on the HUD for FAOFF flight?

As the title says really. I'm pretty new (on PS4) and am enjoying learning how to pilot FAOFF. With a fair bit of experience in flight sims and stuff it seems odd to me that there's no velocity vector on the HUD when FA is off. It leaves me to have to rely on looking at the space dust flying by to estimate my vector but sometimes this can be a real pain due to the varying density of the space dust. Sometimes there's lots of it and it's quite obvious where I'm heading but other times there's hardly any dust and I can't tell where I'm going.

Do many people actually fly FAOFF? If so then I really think this would be a very valuable addition as without it, it kind of raises questions regarding the inclusion of FAOFF when the game doesn't provide the necessary HUD feedback to use it properly.

A lot but that's acutally a pretty good idea.

What makes its tough is the whole range of movement though

It may be a little tricky but there are many helicopter games around that will demonstrate how some simple graphical symbology can get this info across to the player.
